Rating: Summary: An outstanding story Review: I really enjoyed reading this book. It's one of my favorites. I liked how it shows her side of the story. It's not easy being different. I like the twist of the story in the end.
Rating: Summary: Mesmerizing Thriller that I couldn't put down Review: At first, when I saw the book and title, I thought "this isn't going to be good". Even when I read a brief summary of what it was about I didn't feel attracted to it(i'm normally a romance junky and like historical fiction, but then I gave it a shot and I can't stop thinking about...the entire book is just so thrilling. The characters are all so interesting and this story doesn't remind me of a horror novel, more like a suspense and a bit of mystery. It is so good because of this because of its well roundedness, its a bit of romance, mystery, suspense, horror, and fantasy. It appeals to every aspect of a good book, I highly recommend this title... oh yeah thanks for reading
Rating: Summary: Blood and Chocolate-simply a werewolves point of view Review: God, I am not one for reading books, but if all books were written as well, and were interesting as this one I would be. The name of the book is the thing that captured my interest, but when I started to read this book, that's all I could think about. Whether it's an adult reader, or a young reader it is a captivating book and I highly recommend it.
Rating: Summary: Blood and Chocolate is definatley something to Howl for! Review: Blood and Chocolate is definatley one of the most interesting and thrilling books thatI have ever read. Klause uses her information on the supernatural in the most commendable way. I enjoyed this book very much. Vivian is a girl that has the feelings that a regular teenage girl would have;desire, anger, loneliness and others. A superbly constructed and written book.
Rating: Summary: Magical Review: It was really wonderful, the way she described how everything felt. And it was very metaphorical too, it was like she was an outcast in her town and then someone finally gave her a chance.
Rating: Summary: Blood and Chocolate is an awesome book Review: Blood and Chocolate is an intreguing book with a little bit of every thing; mystery, romance, fantasy, and real life. Although Vivian is a wearwolf, the reader can identify with her feelings of lonelyness. The reader is thrown into a tangle of messes that Klause expertly creates a well bonded solution to. This book is an excellent read for teens(not recomended for younger children) who are looking for an adventure.
Rating: Summary: BLOOD AND CHOCOLATE: A REALLY GOOD BOOK FOR TEENS TO READ :) Review: The novel "Blood and Chocolate" by Annette Curtis Klause is one of the best novels that I have read. This is a really interesting book to read. The only reason why I chose it was because I had a book report that was due in like 2 weeks, so I asked my brother about something easy, interesting and short. Next thing you know, he brought me the book. I thought of it oh ok I'll just read it and get over with the book report, but you wont believe it, I read the book in just half a day. The book was that interesting. I really didn't want to stop reading it. I realy loved it. I think that what I loved the most was the ending of it. I really did enjoy the characters in the book, especially Gabriel. This book seems so real. The life of Vivian is really interesting, she is stuck between two loves, and she doesn't know for who to go, for Gabriel a wolf like her or Aiden Teague, a meat boy. The ending is both, sad and happy. I really enjoyed it. I would recomend it to mostly teens.
Rating: Summary: BLOOD AND CHOCOLATE; WHICH ONE TO CHOOSE? Review: When I first saw the title of this book , I told my friend: "I don't think those two go very well together." She laughed, while I grabbed the book from her. After I read the back, I asked her if I could borrow it. When she said yes, I began to read it right away. This exciting, and supensefull novel of a girl, who is a werewolf, and she can't decide if she would rather be a girl, or a wolf. When she falls for a human, or "meat-boy," as her famliy, "the pack," calls him, she thinks she loves him, and when she becomes queen of her pack, her whole world, with her family, and with her boyfriend is about to change, and so is she, which one will she choose: human, or wolf?
Rating: Summary: What a book! Review: Blood and Chocolate may seem like a gruesome book when one looks at the title, but hidden inside is a treasure trove of fantasy and love. Each character is well-thought-out, and every aspect of the setting and characters are very intriguing and straightforward. This book is "woven well", and for me, it was SO interesting that I read the whole book in a day. Though the book does have explicit content, it conveys the story amazingly well. At the end, you begin to worry for Vivian's fate, and you are hoping for the best. Fortunately for the avid reader, though, this book does not have a cliffhanger ending! What the ending is? Don't expect me to tell you! Find out for yourself. Read this book!
Rating: Summary: Becoming an adult Review: This is a very exciting YA read and quite suspenseful. Vivian is grieving for her dead father, on the outs with her mother, living in a strange place, and feeling like an outsider. She wants to fit in, to have friends, and she does this by seeking out the affections of a young boy named Aidan. But all and all, she is really denying who she is and what her life is about. The lesson of this story is that denying who you really are is far more dangerous than pretending to be what you are NOT. There is a great story here, more involved than in Silver Kiss, a nice subplot with murder, and yes, a good love story. Klause does it again. I can't wait to read more of her work. If you have not read Blood and Chocolate, buy it now and treat yourself to a good story.
