Summary: My opinion on Jade Green
Review: I like this book bacause it's a little scary. Her uncle gives her two rules to live with them. She's an orphan because her mother died as a mad woman. Her uncle told her no green in the hous and she could only play a certain song on the piano. There're some unappropriate things. The book is good for people who like mystery book and a couple of scary parts.I think you should buy this book.

Summary: Not A Must Read
Review: This book is inapropriate. It has a horrid ending for a child, where the cousin of the protagonist tries to force her to have sex with him. Then a ghost strangles him. The cousin had killed a girl after he forced her to have sex with him, and he kissed her. All over. He killed her by cutting her hand off, and she bled to death. Can't you people read Harry Potter?!

Summary: JADE GREEN a ghost story
Review: This is an awesome story called JADE GREEN a ghost story, about a girl named Judith, whose parents have died of illnesses. No one in her family would take her in, finally her Uncle Geoffrey agrees to take her under one condition, that she doesn't bring anything that is the color green, its forbidden in his house, but she couldn't leave the green picture frame of her mother. Judith is also to help Mrs. Hastings, the maid. Judith's cousins name is Charles. Judith's first night at the Sparrow house, she heard scratching in her closet and thought is was mice. The next thing that happened something or someone touched her face and then she woke-up screaming. Then one day she went up to the attic to dust and then when she was done and started to go back down stairs she seen blood on the wooden stairs way, that wasn't there when she went up the stairs. She also found a white glove in the same spot where she seen the blood. One afternoon when she was in her room reading, she seen something out of the corner of her eye and then when she looked she seen a girls hand severed at the wrist and there was also dry blood on the ghostly hand. When she was sleeping one night she woke-up because she heard someone playing the piano and I just happened to be the song that JADE GREEN, the young girl that died on the wooden stair way to the attic, used to play for Judith's Uncle Geoffrey, When she went down to she who was playing the piano, she seen the severed hand playing the piano. One night after dinner she heard the meat cleaver hitting the cutting board when she was down in the root cellar, when she was done, she went back up to the kitchen, she the meat cleaver hitting the cutting board and then all of a sudden it STOPED!!!! I think this is a great book and I loved it a lot! I liked is so much because at the beginning it is a little boring, but you should keep reading it because once you get a little farther in to it, it is one of those books the once you get in to it you can't put it down in till you finished the whole book! I also liked it because it keeps you guessing what's going to happen next or what's going to happen to her! I think anyone who likes mystery's or books that are suspenseful and keep you guessing then they defiantly read this book, or even just wants a really good book to read.

Summary: Save This One for the Beach
Review: I would not reccomend this book to anyone under seventh grade, due to the certain subject matter it contains. However, the story is quite predictable, the ghost quite cliched and used, and the mystery is quite weak. The whole thing about 'not putting green in the house' was not fully explained either...

Summary: A Great Story
Review: I really recommend this book to anybody who needs a break from long, confusing books. I really liked the characters because they had so much personalities. Well anyway, Jade Green is about a orphan named Judith. She moves in with her uncle on one condition: she can't bring anything green in the house. But Judith has a gift from her mom that she just can't part with, so she takes it into the house. Then, strange things start happening. Judith sees a hand roaming around the hallways. The story goes to how she gets locked in a room in a house that was on fire. But you should read the book to find out what happens.

Summary: !~* I Couldn't Put It Down *~!
Review: Oh my gosh! I think Jade Green was one of the best books I've ever read. The mere setting of it - in that old house where a supposed suicide had been committed - freaked me out. Yet, it wasn't freaky enough to scare me away (and, trust me, i do get frightened easily). I'm twelve years old, and I didn't have any homework that night so I decided to start reading this book. And, after the first chapter, I was interested enough to keep reading, so i did, and continued until 10:30 that night, when i finished. Charles, Judith's freaky, lustful 40 year old cousin, gave me more than just the ghost of Jade Green to worry about. I insist you read the book and feel for yourself the enjoyable frights Phyllis Naylor, the author, can fill you with. ;-)

Summary: Jade Green
Review: I have been searching for a really superb book to read and I think I finally found it. This book was not only thrilling but had a sort of enchanting perspective as well. This book featured aspects that many strive to attain but only gifted author's posses. Clearly, Phyllis Naylor is an exceptionally gifted writer. She creatively used foreshadowing and very descriptive details to let the reader really focus in on the important and non-important details that put all the pieces together to make the book a complete picture. This spine-tingler was unlike any ghost story I have ever read before. It has a very unusual plot, that is, the ghost being "set loose" when the color green enters the house, and the ghost is unlike any other. Usually the ghost that is haunting is a full body form ghost. Obviously Naylor decided not to be like the common authors, because this was the first ghost story I didn't get bored with that I read in one sitting. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves thrillers and cliff-hangers. Also to anyone who has been unsuccessfully searching for a good read. This book is now in my top 5 favorites and if you read it, it will soon to be in yours.

Summary: Jade Green: Nothing Green Can Stay
Review: The book Jade Green is an exciting and interesting book. It would definately have to be the scariest book I have ever read. This ghost story had a good twist at the end, but it was somewhat predictable. The style of writing, as well, was too immature for my age, so it seemed to be written for a younger age group, which was why I only gave it four stars. But overall, it was a good story with fun characters and suspenseful scenes. I would definately recommend this book to anyone who enjoys scary books and interesting endings.
