Summary: The awesomest series ever written
Review: The Song of the Lioness Quartet was the most awesomest series I have ever read. I had never heard of it till my friend lent me her books. The stories were so captivating I couldn't put the book down! I kept reading them for hours on end enjoying all of Alanna's adventures and conquests. I give it two thumbs up :o)

Summary: Alanna thanks you and I thank you
Review: I was deeply honored to read so many enthusiastic comments about my Alanna books, and am delighted that my work has struck so deep a chord in so many. She is my way of saying that we can all shape the lives we need and want, if only we are determined enough and want it badly enough. I wanted to be a writer very badly--badly enough to write a 732-page fantasy novel called *The Song of the Lioness* one winter when I didn't have much else to do--and it seems clear from the mails and letters I've gotten over the years that I was right to pursue writing so stubbornly. So, on Alanna's behalf and on my own, thanks to all of you who have kept her (and me!) in typewriter ribbons and computer diskettes for all these years!

Summary: Really Fun To Read
Review: Everyone else has probably said everything good about "Alanna: The First Adventure," but I'd like to add my two-cents' worth. I think the biggest thing about this book is that it's just plain INTERESTING (now there's a new one!). And hilarious. After reading The Song of the Lioness Quartet, my life seems so dull and ordinary. --Abigail

Summary: A Good Book to Read and Reread
Review: The book "Alanna, The First Adventure" is one of the best books I've read. It is a story about a young girl who wants to become a knight so she disguises herself as a boy so she can become a page. Alanna has many adventures in this book and she makes both friends and enemies. To find out what happens read the BOOK!

Summary: Alanna:In the guiseof a young man
Review: As an 11 year old,I loved this book. What made me buy this book was it was a little similar to the last Fantasy book I read, which is the series "Tha Chronicles Of Narnia",written by C.S. Lewis. And another thing that I love about this book,is,the story's plot.It can be read by adults or even8 year olds . I recommend this book especially to 11 year olds, who will appreciate this book/series very much.

Summary: A good book
Review: I loved that book when I was younger. I wanted to reread it some time ago, but I couldn't remember the title. Now I've found it, and I will go to the library and read it again! The story of Alanna was really fascinating as far as I can remember... I recommend it especially to young people.

Review: I am now 21 years old and have been reading this series since they were first published. Each summer I keep thinking that maybe I wil put them away, but I never do. Every year I read the entire series and I am always fascinated by Alanna's adventures. I highly recommend every book of this series. Even if you think that you don't like fantasy these books will keep you hooked.

Summary: This book is excedling good. Alanna never ceases to amaze me
Review: The first time I read this book I thought it would be boring and boy was I wrong! This book is spirited and funny. I find myself faced with the same problems as Alanna only I can't fight like she can. I've read all the other books on Alanna and the Immortals books too. Believe once you read one you have to read the others!!

Summary: This was the best book I've ever read!!!
Review: I first saw "Alanna: The First Adventure" in a library, and took it out ( with the others of that series and the Immortals series). After reading it, and the other books, I decided that Tamora Pierce was a genius. "Alanna: The First Adventure" is the best book I've ever read (along with her other books) and I am eagerly awaiting her next series.
