Rating: Summary: This is the best series I have ever read! Review: This is my favorite series out of all the books I have ever read! I love how she disguises herself as a boy and then becomes a knight. I love the adventure, the fantasy, the excitement and battles. The adjectives too. Just everything. Alanna is someone I would love to be, she's not afriad to say what she wants, she's strong, respected, and more than meets the eye. It's not an ordinary book at all. To write a book like this you must truly have a skilled mind and great imagination. I must read the whole series again at least once every week, well maybe not, just my favorite parts. This series was truly worth every penny I paid for it.

Rating: Summary: Durability Review: This is one of the first novels that I had ever read. I first read it out of my elementary school library. The entire Lioness series captivated me. When I got to high school I actually went out and brought the entire serious. This is a series that captiviated through time. You go through the same emotions that you went through at 9 when you are 16. This series kind of grows with you because the older I got the more I began to understand about this series. When I first read this series I went from one book to the next and when I finally got to the last I was reluctant to finish it. I wanted to savor the book, I didn't want the story of Alanna to finish. I feel that the main character Alanna is one of the best developed female heroines in all of literary history. She is a 3-dimensional character, with spunk, personality, and wonderful gifts. Alanna is a character that you can relate to. She has feelings and she goes through some real life emotions. I think that the supporting characters in this series are also fabulous. George, John, Liam and the purple-eyed cat which guides and protects Alanna. I feel in love with George because of his tough and mischevious exterior and his love of fun and good heart. I was glad when Alanna realized that George was the one for her. I loved John for just simply being John. As the series progresses the feelings that I had for John changed but I believe that is what made the series great. It was ever changing but still it managed to have a familiarity and a comfortability that most books lack. I love this book and it made a real difference in my life. This was the series of books that started me on the path to being the avid reader that I am today. I am now in college but this series still holds a special spot in my heart.

Rating: Summary: Alanna: The First Adventure is a great, exciting, book! Review: Alanna wants to become a knight. The only problem is, she's a girl. So Alanna disguises herself as a boy, Alan, and goes for training. There she meets lots of interesting people, and becomes friends with the prince. This book is imaginitive, exciting, and fun to read! You feel like you know the caracters, and you'll always want to find out what happens next!

Rating: Summary: THE GREATEST BOOKS I HAVE EVER READ Review: Teaches great lessons of life. All 4 books are the best. I will miss reading them, because they always kept me intertaind when there was nothing to do. (and when there was) I recamend this book to everyone. Except to those weak at heart or tummy. It tells the story of how girls can do anything they put their minds to.
Rating: Summary: A terrific, imaginative book. Review: Alanna,Song of the Lioness,is more than a book. It's a playground for imagination.Tamora Pierce gives the outline-you do the rest without knowing you're doing so.Once you start all your freetime is spent with Alanna, from friendship to sword fighting.A TERRIFIC BOOK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: The book was fun, and had lots of excitement. Review: My favorite part in the book was when Alanna decided that she wanted to be a knight and fight battles. When she met Jonathon the prince she was very surprised to meet someone that was royalty. BY: CIARA M.
