Review: I never read fantasy books but while searching a library I discovered the lioness Quartet series. I instantly fell in love with the series. My favorite characters were Jon, George, and of course Alanna. Everyone should read these books. I wish there would be four more lioness Quartet books. THANKS TAMORA!

Summary: Wonderful,inticing!
Review: This whole Quartet was wonderful.Alanna is a fascinating main character,and far from bland.She not only has a good personality,a famous temper,and purple eyes-she's got a fighter's spirit.This book was,I believe,my favorite out of the quartet.The fourth was my second favorite,the second my third,and the third my fourth. It seems alot of people are complaining about the "love scenes" in these books,and the "simplicity" of it all.I disagree.Totally.Alanna wasn't always looking forward to romance and love.In fact,she's somewhat nervous about it.I can relate to that^_^. The "sex" scenes in it are not nearly as bad as some I have seen.If you want romance,read a romance book.If you want action,read an action/drama book,etc. If you can't handle both,then this is not a series for you....But I absolutely loved it!

Review: I loved this book soo much that when I first read it I couldn't put it down. I got really caught up in the plot, with all its twists and turns, and I became Alanna. The funny parts become more hilarious as you reread them, and the poignant parts become more so as well.This book takes you on a very interesting ride: you will feel everything Alanna feels, but you'll love it no matter what.

Review: I loved the Alanna books. Want proof? I've read "The First Adventure" 5 times. (And no, I don't consider myself obsessed.) Tamora Pierce has the right formula for a great read, with the perfect mix of humour, adventure and fantasy. I can't wait until my library gets her next book! I'd give "The First Adventure" ******, but the max here is 5.

Review: As soon as I bought this book, i read it in a day- and ran out to by the next in the series! It has all the elements that a young girl- or boy- loves. Adventure, magic, honor, bravery, and a cute leading man! I would love to one day meet Tamora Pierce- and I cannot wait to buy the next book she writes!

You feel as if you were there and experiencing the magical wonders Tamora Pierce presents in her books. I would, like alot of my friends, be glad to read one of her books anyday!

Review: I thought this was a good book, this is a big compliment coming from me, who generally isn't too keen on fantasy books! Unlike some of the other reviewers, I thought that the romance parts were good..:o) Nice, without going overboard. Tamora Pierce, PLEASE keep writing! I'm really looking forward to reading First Test, which is about Alanna's daughter!
