Rating: Summary: I LOVE IT!!!! Review: The first book written by Tamora Pierce that I read was Wolf-Speaker. I got hooked, and read the others of the Immortal Series. But i was kinda nervous about reading the Alanna books, because i thought i would be disappointed. I WAS WRONG!! Song Of The Lioness is sooo good! I love the syntax, the characters, the plot--everything! It all seems so real, when i stop reading i wonder why there aren't a bunch of pages galavanting in the front yard ^_^ Anyway, if i could, i'd give this book a lot more than only five measly stars! I love all her books! Woo-hoo!! Tamora Pierce 4-evah!
Rating: Summary: These books are so awesome Review: I love all four of these books. They've got great characters, great stories, and they're just all really good. I'm going to read them again.
Rating: Summary: My nine year old daughter loved it.! Review: My daughter loved it. She could not stop reading, even in the car on the way to and FROM school this past week.Great book!
Rating: Summary: I really enjoyed reading this book and the rest of the seris Review: Before I read the Alanna seris, I read Wild Magic and the following three. I hoped that The Song Of The Lioness Quartet would be as good or better than the Wild Magic books. And guess what, they were better. I really enjoyed how Alanna's and George's relationship went. I knew from the very beginning that George and her were going to get married.
Rating: Summary: Incredible Book! Filled with action and adventure. Review: This book is excellent, the adventure is nice, and the romance adds a nice twist
Rating: Summary: Exc. Fantasy! Review: I'm a loved of fantasy, and when I stumbled across this book in the book Let's Hear It For The Girls: 375 Good Books For Girls Age 2-14, I wanted to read it. This book was fantasic. I was up all morning finishing it in bed. So I ran to the bookstore to buy the other three. I was a little disappointed that they didn't write much about Thom. I think Tamora Pierce should write another series about Thom :). A recommended read: AAAA+++++
Rating: Summary: GREAT BOOK! Review: I loved this book and the way Jonathan finds out about Alanna in the end. I think it's really cool that Alanna's trying to win her shield when the last warrior maid was 100 years ago. I think everyone should read this book. Oh, by the way Duke Roger of Conte isn't Jonathan's uncle he's his cousin. Just thought I'd mention that. Good night Tortall!
Rating: Summary: Wonderful series that I grew up loving Review: I have loved this entire series since I was young (even before the series was finished). I would reccommend it to anyone, esp girls, who loves magic knights princes and stories of growing up trying to find your place in the world. A wonderful story and perfect start to the series.
Rating: Summary: Why read something else when you can read Alanna?!!! Review: I first saw the Alanna books when one of my friends was over to spend the night....I got my hands on it and read it non-stop for 3 hours. Right then and there I hopped in the car and almost demanded for my mom to take me to a book store to buy the rest. Once I got my hands on not only the Alanna series but the Immortals, I read and read and read. Finnishing one, then picking up another. I can't wait until her next quartet is in paperback!!!! READ THIS BOOK!!! P.S. It says that this book is for ages 9-12, forget that. I am almost 15 and am sure that I will enjoy it as I grow up, re-reading it until the cover falls off!!
