Rating: Summary: Will Christopher ever run out of anything to say???! Review: This book was very funny. Christopher is just so witty is funny. it's a good thing he narrated this boook. he adds his own mix of comments along with thoughts!!!! I think that this is about the funniest of all three books.
Rating: Summary: Not the best, but hey, it's EVERWORLD! Review: This book wasn't one of the better ones, but in a way it was. Christopher, David, and Jalil start into this war again(as a contiuation). It sorta tells you about the characters more. It has some gruesome war tales, but that just adds to the suspense. It does has some truth too, because the Aztecs DID sacrifice people for their hearts. In this story it introduces Merlin, and his abilities. I recommend this book to people who KNOW how to read depth. But Christopher(the nararator in this story) doesnt go too much into depth. It's funny how a grown adult like KA Applegate can capture the thoughts of tennagers. And Christopher reveals his true feelings for April... and for Senna... will David and Christopher fall under Senna's spells? Or will they resist? You will just have to find out in this one-of-a-kind book series......
Rating: Summary: Very good, a real page turner Review: This is a great book. I would definetly recommend this book to people who want to read a good detailed strory. It's a harder read than KAA's Animorphs series, but not too hard. This book is more for older kids, because of some of the language and content. The books end on a cliff hanger, so be prepared to want to buy the second one.
Rating: Summary: Awesome! Review: This is one of the collest books I've read lately. And I just got into the series a few days ago! The four teens, David, Christopher, April and Janlil are still hunting for that witch Senna in Everworld. They face armies, defy gods, sneer at wizards, and Dave manages to wet his pants when yelled at. Anyway, it's a cool book made for people who like modern stories, jammed with sci-fi and fantasy altogether. Read it. You'll like it.
Rating: Summary: Better than "Search for Senna"! Review: This one is definitely better than the first book in the series, although it's a great deal shorter. Why? Well, Chris Hitchcock is a better narrator than Dave Levin, IMHO. He's realistic, often ironically yet hysterically funny, even in the face of death, and all in all his outlook is a refreshing break from David's edginess you can sense in the narration. KAA writes Christopher really well, he's Marco (from Ani, fans of course will know) in a way, but beyond him in a sense, more grim, more dark in nature, more cynical (and everyone knows what a cynic Marco is!). I especially relished seeing through Christopher's eyes the encounter with the Aztec priests and nearly being sacrificed. He actually conveys the terror with humour. The same with everything else. Utterly, totally serious, life-or-death situations, and KAA through Christopher actually cracks me up. Can you say talent?
Rating: Summary: The first was better... Review: When I read the first book in the series (4 stars), I was excited and surprised. K.A. Applegate wrote "Search for Senna" with such power, I couldn't wait for the next one. But what a dissappointment. I read the book in an hour and was let down big time. This lacked power and quality.
Rating: Summary: Chilling down to the bone! Review: Wow!I know..I know...the "cussing" thing,if you are that immature..don't read it.Anyways, this is a wonderful book!Ever since the gangs world was twisted around on Lake Michigan, nothing has been the same. Now,they are in the middle of a war with the Aztecs..when all of a sudden,a HUGE "thing" came from behind the great Aztec palace's.It grows beautiful rainbow wings, way too small for him to fly with though...yet,he flys. The Aztecs scream "Huitzilopoctli!",he gives them great courage..and now they are driving the Vikings away! Loki is one of the few who stand ground,he screams "Minjor!".Little by little the Vikings are also filled with courage, and charge back.Loki goes after the great Aztec god, with the weapon they call Minjor, which is dwarfed by Huitzilopoctli's great size. Now that little "Hatchet" must kill the enormus Aztec god...or they all get thier hearts ripped out of thier chest and eaten by the god..still beating...
Rating: Summary: Ever World #1 search for senna Review: Wow, if you are reading this reveiw you have to read this book. Right when I started this book I was automatically drawn to it. I would stay up for hours not able to put this book down. It starts out as Chris, Jalil, April, and David are for some reason pulled to a boat launch where Senna (Davids girl friend) was sitting on a rock at 5 o'clock in the morning. For some unknown reason they all got pulled into a dream world "Ever World", but Senna didn't get pulled to the same location on Ever World as every one else, and from there on then they are struggling to surive and find Senna in this unknown place. They first were born on earth with cars and human beings, but now they are surounded with furious vikings to giant snakes and wolves. HINT: If you plan on reading this book you will have to read all of them they have NO ending what so ever. They just go right on to the next series. Thanx happy reading :)
Rating: Summary: ~blinks~ Review: Wow. Wow, wow, and wow. Even better than the first, and that's saying something! ~grins~ Finally, something about Azteca mythology! Such a seldom-used topic..
