Review: I have read this book at least 7 times, and i could read it 5 more without tiring.

This is a story about Daine, a poor orphan girl with a knack for animals and her adventures when she becomes a helper to Ona (I think thats her name. So many names like that in Pierce's books!), The horse handler. She befriends Queen Thyat, King Jonathan, and the most powerful mage in Tortall, Numair Salimalin.

Tamora Pierce is able to Write and describe so well, the book just has this air about it, like the others in the series. It literally made me giddy.

I recommend this book, the series, and the writer.
