Rating: Summary: !!!!!!ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS I'VE EVER READ!!!!!!! Review: This is the first book I have read by Tamora Piecre. And totally LOVED it. Currently I looking forward to reading the fourth book in the series. I wish I could find a bookstore here in Houston that carries some of her other titles. If anybody knows where in Houston I can find them e-mail me.
Rating: Summary: I LOVE IT !!!! Review: This is one of the best books I've read in looong time.
Rating: Summary: Love It!!! Review: I love this book, and all the other ones in this series! I have read it atlest four times, and have not gotten tired with it yet!
Rating: Summary: The beginning of another additive series by Tamora Pierce Review: This novel is the first in a series of four. Having read the "Alanna" series I had wanted to read more of this author. Wild Magic introduces another set of strong characters, both female and male, and brings back some of our old favourties from the previous series. Numair and Diane are effectively used to create not only a tension between the two of them but also a great feeling of mystery and wonder at the creatures they meet. This book is, as I say, addictive, once you have picked it up you will not wish to put it down. A terrific lead in for the next three books.
Rating: Summary: This book, is really awesome! Review: This book, is really great for anyone. Even if you don't like Fantasy books, you will love this one. Daine posseses powers that lots of people would love to have , but of course don't. But with this book you can live these powers through reading it. This series is truly magical, and a blast to read. It is a true page turner
Rating: Summary: Adam Sewell Review: I am only fourteen, and to me this book is one of the best books I have ever read. The way that Ms.Pierce has wrote this book is spectacular, she is now my favirote author. This book along with all of the other books she has written, I think appeal to my age readers along with adults
Rating: Summary: A great new series by Tamora Pierce!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Review: We get to meet all new characters, and for those who have read the Alanna series, we get to meet old characters and their families. In this book we get to meet Daine, a thirteen year old girl with wild magic. Ythis wild magic lets her talk to animals and do other cool things as the story continues. We also get to meet Onua, a nice horse trader, Numair, a sorcerer, Cloud, Daine'spunky horse, and Kitten a dragon. What else cane you ask for? Adventure you say? Well you get that too. This is a really fun series, adn if you liked the Alanna series you are sure to love this one
Rating: Summary: This book is the best! Review: Daine, a young woman with Wild Magic, is hired by Onua (a trader of horses). The two set off across Tortall and meet many wild adventures. Daine is taught to handle her Wild Magic and get over "the madness." This book is exciting and suspenful at every turn
Rating: Summary: This book is Tamora Pierce's best book yet! Review: I have read all Tamora Pierce's books so far and I think this is her best yet! This book is about Daine a 13 year old who has 'Wild Magic' which means the power to communicate, change into, and heal animals. In this book she faces off to the evil stormwings and their queen, Zaneth Bitterclaws. But she is not alone in this fight for she soon teams up with Cloud a horse with strong opinions, Numair who teaches her about her 'Wild Magic', Onua who hires her to help with the horses, King Jonathon, Queen Thayet and the Riders and Kitten a baby dragon. They all know the emporer of Carthank is involved somehow with all the 'Immortals' running about but they can't prove how. Alanna is also in this book so if you've read the 'Song of the Lioness' series this is a must read. This book is full of magic and fantasy and is my favorite book so far
Rating: Summary: A whole new adventure with a few old friends! Review: Poor Daine. No more family. No father, ever.
But this resoureful teen heads to the Fair in Cria', hoping to find a job that will let her use her "knack" with animals. But as she heads south with Onua, the horse trader, her "knack" hardens into, "wild magic" when a powerful mage recognizes
it. With help from the mage, Numair, and the badger god, Daine slowly gains control over her
magic, just in time for the barrier between the mortal and immortal worlds to weaken, leting some
naughty and some nice immortals through. Along with Alanna and her husband, they set out to do battle with the forces that turned thier world upside-down.
