Summary: Not worth your time 2
Review: Man, when I finished this book, I was very depressed. I thought this book would talk about some interesting things and hopefully I will learn something useful. But noo... Mary-Lou proved to a foolish girl and I really felt I wasted my time reading a novel all about kissing that seems fake.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: This book is great sum and substance!
Review: I love this book. I can really relate to Mary-Lou. It'shilarious and heartwarming. It just describes the ups and downs ofbeing a teenager. Actually, I think this book is better than Walk TwoMoons. That book was just confusing. I'd request Absolutely Normal Chaos for a Newberry Medal. This book definetly didn't waste any of my time.

Summary: An Amazing book!
Review: My friend suggested Absolutely Normal Chaos for me. We have a lot of the same tastes in books. I bought it and she kept telling me that I had to read it so I finally did. I absolutely loved it. It is one of my favorite books. It is about a girl named Mary Lou Finney (also in Walk Two Moons) who writes in a summer journal. It goes through times with her cousin, boyfriends, best friends and family. I would recommend this book to any girl! It is a great book!

Summary: Not worth your time
Review: The narrator of the book is too much the stereotypical girl. I would suggest this book to girls 9 and under but not any older. She tried to make the book funny but it didn't work. I don't suggest this book to anyone who is looking for a worthwhile book with good humor. Don't read this book.

It is very humorous and will make you laugh out loud, and last but not least, it's just an excellent book. I recommend highly that you purchase this book!

Summary: Not bad.
Review: The writing in this book was all together refreshing (sounding just like thirteen-year-old girl) and the characters are interesting--both strange and exciting at the same time. But...there is something wanting, like the author accidently forgot to put something in. I don't know...maybe Creech's award-winning book "Walk Two Moons" put my expectations high. So maybe I should have read this one first, maybe that would let me see the full charm and fun of this book. Instead, I was just constantly comparing it to "Walk Two Moons".

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The Greatest Book Ever!
Review: Sharon Creech is one of the best authors on this planet! I read Walk Two Moons, Bloomability, and Absolutely Normal Chaos, and they were all the best! In Absolutely Normal Chaos, Mary Lou Finney is a teenager who is looking forward to a normal summer. But the opposite happens! Her cousin from West Virginia comes down, she questions her friendship with her best friend Beth Ann, and she meets Alex, who she falls in love with! This is the best book!

Summary: Absolutely Normal Chaos
Review: The book Absolutely Normal Chaos, by award - winning author Sharon Creech, is a very well written story. It is about a teenage girl named Mary Lou, who has to write in a journal about her supposedly boring summer. This book will make you think twice about how you judge people before you get to know them. By the time you're finished with this book, you will want to go out and read Sharon Creech's other magnificent books! Absolutely Normal Chaos is told from the point of view of a thirteen-year old girl named Mary Lou Finney, who has to write in a journal (given to her by her English teachers) about her boring summer. Mary Lou thinks her summer will be full of days that are as boring as a long drive to a far away place. However, the summer doesn't seem so boring after all when her cousin, Carl Ray, arrives from West Virginia. Initially, Mary Lou thinks that having Carl Ray stay at their house will ruin her summer. For instance, she has to clean up after Carl Ray, make his bed, respect his privacy, and she can't do anything else until she has finished those duties. She also writes about an interesting boy she meets in the summer and about her crazy family as well. A lot of unexpected events occur throughout Mary Lou's summer, but you'll have to read this wonderful book to find out about all of them. The author of this book easily makes her point about wrong impressions. You'll find out that having to spend a summer with someone you don't know that well may not be so bad after all. Ms. Creech manages to tell you that not everyone always turns out as they seem. Sharon Creech has showed off this brilliant talent in her other books, Bloomability, Chasing Redbird, and the award-winning Walk Two Moons.
