Summary: What a funny book!
Review: The book "Absolutely Normal Chaos" is a great book. This book has a mixture of Genres. This book is interesting and a book you can't put down. The book makes me crack up. For example, Carl ray comes to live at the Finney's house. So, Mary Lou has to do his chores for him. She has to do his bed and to do house-service. It also is about Mary-Lou and her family having a crazy summer. This book is a funny book that you could read at least 5 times. I would recommend this book to people who like to read about peoples live and how a family can get closer. If you like diary's you will love this one. I would rate this book a five.

Review: Absolutley Normal Chaos is definatley the best book ever. It is REALLY funny, and the Main Character, Mary Lou gets into trouble just like normal teenagers

Absolutley Normal Chaos tells the story of a girl named Mary Lou Finney. She has a large family, and each of them get into their own twists and mess ups. In her journal, she tells of how her cousin Carl Ray adds to her soap opera summer. It is really really funny and really really good. I reccomend it to anyone!

Review: My 11 year still enjoys having me read to her. This is a great read aloud book (and silent reading). It has real life drudgery and excitement, lots of emotional passages, and tends to leave you on edge as to what will happen, especially to Carl Ray, the cousin visiting for the summer. I even found myself looking forward to the next day's reading.

Review: i love this book! i like sharon creech's way of writing. walk two moons was a good book too. my favorite character in this book was carl ray! he is funny in a weird way. it was kind of predictable tho, but still, i liked it alot.

Review: School and homework is over for every student except for Mrs. Zollar's students. She has given them an assignment, to write a journal over hte summer and hand it in to their new English teacher at the begining of the year.

Mary-Lou Finney was in Mrs.Zollar's class. She now has to write in a journal about what's been happening with her family and friends each day of the summer. She writes some pretty interestig stuff about her cousin, Carl Ray, and her crush, Alex Cheevey.

Mary Lou goes through at least 10 journals through out the whole summer. When she re-reads some of her entries, she relizes that she doesn't want her new English teacher to read her journals.

Find out for your self what happens between Mary Lou and Alex and find out the mystery behind her cousin, Carl Ray.

Review: Sharon Creech is an excellant writer. Although she has many books out, I think this was her best book. It shows what a normal kid's life is like and how hard it is to be a kid. Summer to a kid is just like a vacation and Sharon Creech really captured that. I love her books and hope you will like them too.

Review: I am an 12 year old who just finshed reading Absolutly Normal Chaos. As I read I couldn't help thinking i've done that or i've said that before escpecially the part about Alex Cheevey. I would recommed this book to anyone over the age on 11 it was really good and has inspired me to read the real Odyessey (I have read a shorter version) and I have realized that Robert Frost guy is pretty intesting. Review: People! This is great! Ok, let's start again. The contents of this book is plain. But then it is VERY humourous in a way which makes you *grins* every now and then, (not that's not weird! ) and sometimes, you even have to wonder if those occasions had ever happened to you or if you have ever thought like the narrator. (the person who wrote the diary) And tell you what, this is the major inspiration for me to start writing a diary, which, I found pretty good. Please read this for leisure, I'm sure it'll entertain you, even if you are a boy (yes, boys! boys! where are you?)

Review: This was such a good book! I always read it at the beginning of summer because it's such a "summery" kind of book and makes me feel happy. :) (Probably because I got it on the last day of school 2 years ago.) I've read it like more than 10 times and have sort of memorized a lot of the parts. Mary Lou is so honest and I love how it's in the form of a journal because i feel when it's written like that that you get to know the characters better. Even if you are not a fan or Sharon Creech, this book is for you!
