Summary: My favorite book--Mary Lou is a wonderful heroine!
Review: I've read Absolutely Normal Chaos over four times because I love the main character, Mary Lou Finney, so much. Mary Lou's wit is sharp and her outlook is amusing and honest. Mary Lou is dismayed when she has to keep a journal for a school project. She had no idea that at the end of the summer, the pages would be filled with details of the most exciting summer of her life! From her weirdo cousin, Carl Ray, to her first romance, Mary Lou (or should I say, Sharon Creech) is a skilled writer that draws you in. At the end of this book, I felt like Mary Lou was real, and I cared about her. You will love this book! I promise! Sharon Creech has yet to dissapoint her avid readers.

Summary: Absolutely Great Book
Review: This book is one of Sharon Creech's best. I'm surprised it didn't win a Newbery Medal. Mary Lou Finney is writing a diary for school. She thinks it will be boring. But things change when her cousin Carl Ray comes to stay at her house. Find out what happens in this superb novel by Sharon Creech, author of Newbery Medal-winning book, Walk Two Moons.

Summary: great book
Review: Absolutely Normal Chaos is a book absolutely everyone has to read! In this book I learned that that you are not supposed to dress and act the way people want you to, but the way you want to. You have to be yourself! I also discovered don't judge a man 'til you walked two moons in his moccasins! This saying is from the book Walk Two Moons, but it applies in this book as well. I think this book is for sixth and seventh graders because they usually try to be all the same so they wouldn't be left out, but that is wrong! This book is a wonderful book, but not as good as Walk Two Moons! I give this book four stars because it is a great book!
Mary Lou was told to write a journal over the summer! But she was not sure how to write one and she wishes she had someone to teach her! Mary Lou wrote it how she thought was right and hoping the teacher would accept it! During the summer Mary Lou's cousin came to stay at their house! Mary Lou thought he was very strange! She met this boy from school named Alex! She fell in love with him! Than he held her by the hand every day!
One day Carl Ray had to go to home. Nobody wanted to go with him! Everyone had a good excuse but Mary Lou! So she had to go with him! At his house there was no electricity! Mary Lou couldn't even call her boyfriend Alex, or her family! Mary Lou came home and was happy to be home. Then she found out Mr. Furtz was Carl Ray's real dad and she felt sorry for him because Mr. Furtz died!

Summary: Absolutely Normal Chaos
Review: I have resently completed the book intitled Absolutely Normal Chaos which is a really good book. It all started when a girl named Mary Lou who gets a summer journal from her teacher Mr.Birkway. Then her cousin Carl Ray comes up to find a job(which he did). During that time Mary Lou starts reading a book intitle the Odyssey. Then her best friend Beth Ann go's boy crazy over Derek the Divine. Then Mary Lou go's boy crazy over Alex Cheevey. Carl Ray got $5,000.00 from his real dad Mr.Furtz. Carl Ray bought himself a car. And he bought Mary Lou's family a lot of stuff. Then Mary Lou went to Aunt Radene's house hich has no electricity. Then Sally Lynn and her brother scared the heck out of Mary Lou at booger hill. Then a day or two later Carl Ray got in an accident. He was unconsious for two or three days. Mary Lou apologized to Carl Ray when he was still unconsious. The next day Alex Cheevey came to the hospital with Mary Lou. When they got there Carl Ray was wide awake. Then Carl Ray went home. When Mary Lou got home she wrote in her journal saying"The summer is over." I recommend this book for fourth through seventh graders.

Summary: The Best Book In The World
Review: This book written by Sharon Creech is extremely good. I have onread two of her novels and this e was my favorite. The other novel I read was a sequal to this Walk Two Moons. I liked that one but this one vas much more interesting. It also seemed to me that Walk Two Moons dragged on after a while. I also like reading journals better than a story. One life changing thing I learned from this book was to be your self no matter what. Well I guess I better tell what the book is about.
This book is about a thirteen year-old girl who is assigned by her previous english teacher to keep a journal over the summer. Mary Lou is not quite sure what a journal is so she just writes away about her summer and hops she is doing it right. Over the summer her cousin Carl Ray comes to stay with her and adventurous were the results there of. During the summer Mary Lou meets a boy named Alix and falls in love with him. Her best friend Beth Ann is boy crazy. Well I better stop before I give away the ending. I would like to give you a word of advice before I go. Read The Book!!!

Summary: book
Review: I recently completed completed Absolutely Normal Chaos and walk two moons but with out a doubt I liked Absolutely Normal Chaos.I chose to give this book 5 stars because it is very deep and interesting showing how life really is.I would recommend this book to anyone because within these pages it shows how it is to be a teenager and to just be your self.

In the beginning Mary Lou has to write a journal and turn it in to Mr. Birkway, but she dosn't know what a journal is. Mary Lou Finney's cousin moves into the Finneys to find a job,and everybody has to slave around him. Her misery went on for awhile then her boy sick friend started going out with derik the divine until they broke up and that was about the time when Mary Lou got her bot friend. Then her "friend" got jelous of Dericks girlfriend so she started going out with Carl Ray.When Mary Lou went to Carl Rays house she realized that she misjudged Carl Ray when she got home she was given a present from Carl Rays money given to him from his dead father, his real father, Mr. Furtz Mary Lou's neighbor.I enjoyed this book, because it taught me not to judge someone before you komw them.

Summary: Absolutely Normal Chaos was an enjoyable book
Review: Absolutely Normal Chaos was an exceptional book. I do think though, that it was better than Sharon Creech's other book, Absolutely Normal Chaos. I liked how Absolutely Normal Chaos was in journal form, even if it was harder to understand. (...)I suppose Mrs. Creech likes irony because there's more when Carl Ray comes to Mary Lou's house in the other book and finds his biological dad whom he had been searching for, next door in Absolutely Normal Chaos. This book was mainly about young love and taught some people not to fall in love to early. Always wait for the right time or you'll get hurt. I had lots of fun reading Absolutely Normal Chaos.

Summary: Dull Gray--Saron Creech has Done Better
Review: I have recently finished reading the book, Absolutely Normal Chaos, written by Sharon Creech. While reading this book, it gave me a sense of what lay ahead in my life, the life of an adolescent girl. It also provided a strong message to me that you should always "be yourself." However, Sharon Creech has written better.
It all began with a young girl named Mary Lou, fresh from seventh grade with an assignment to keep a journal over the summer. First, her cousin, Carl Ray, comes to stay with her family for a while. Then, her "best friend" Beth Ann gets a boyfriend. Next, Mary Lou gets a boyfriend. After that, she goes to Carl Ray's house for a week. Thier neighbor, Mr. Furtz, dies. Carl Ray gets sick. Then he gets better. And on and on and on.
I must admit that even though it's theme was not week, the rest of the story dragged on in my eyes. It wasn't a book where anyone in our class had the urge to read on. Simply said, it wasn't the best novel in the world.
