Rating: Summary: A Circle of Coverage Review: This book was great and kept me waiting for more. This really showed what a true teenager is really like and shows the true emotions of having a huge family. As she clears her trail, it is like her knowledge and adventure growing with it. After reading this book, I wanted to have a special place like her trail just for my own. This book was wonderful.
Rating: Summary: ONE OF BEST BOOKS I HAVE EVER READ! Review: Without a doubt, CHASING REDBIRD is one of the best I have ever read. This book is full of valuable lessons to never forget something even if a loved one dies. To always remeber things about them and never forget the someone that you really love. It also teaches you if you set out to do something, go ahead and do it. Even if everyone else is against you. Also to never give up, no matter how hard times may get. It also teaches you to live life to the fullest like Zinny's Aunt Jessie did. I would really recommend reading this book. It is suitable for all ages. It is really exciting yet heartwarming when Zinny reaches the end of the trail. You think to yourself that girl was really determined to do this. She cleared 20 miles of trail! It is also neat to look at the map and see how far she was progressing. Sh really wanted to find her Aunt Jessie. On the trail, it gave her time to remember Rose and Aunt Jessie. She really did love them. On the way, she planted Zinnia Seeds so everybody would know that she cleared this trail.. That it was her trail. She encountered rought ime but overcame them with bravery. She really was brave. She believes she saw Aunt Jessie floating toward her. She finds thing that really remind her of her aunt and cousin. In the end it is so touching to see what was at the cabin. You have to read this book. it is a must read and I would give this book a zillion stars if I could. If you don't read this book, you are missing out on a tale full of touching moments and heartwarming moments. It has tons of lessons that really make you think too! You just must read this or you will truly mis out..........

So join Zinny Taylor as she goes on a wonderful adventure in Chasing Redbird, by Sharon Creech.
Rating: Summary: A GREAT BOOK!!! Review: This is a great book. I loved it, even though it was not as good as Walk Two Moons. It was about a girl named Zinny who was following a trail of stones to a mysteries place. You should read, at any age.
Rating: Summary: Love, love, love this book! Review: I LOVE this book. After being a big fan of Creech I was given this book for Christmas. At first I wasn't too sure, but started to read it anyway. I decided (rather frivolously) after about 30 pages that I "didn't like it". Then, maybe 3 months later I picked it up again as a last resort. I started completely over and read it all that day! Since then I have read it about 3 or 4 times. I would recommend this book to any girl (or parents of a girl) over 12 who wants to read a really good book. This is the epitomy of what being a teenager is about--finding yourself.
Rating: Summary: A gentle, humorous, poignant story Review: I just finished reading Chasing Redbird to my two daughters after having read glowing reviews about it. One reviewer mentioned laughing and crying through the story, but our reactions were not so intense. We shed no tears, and only chuckled now and then, because this story has a gentle humor. There are funny situations that seem like they could happen to anyone...like when Jake steals a puppy to give Zinny, but it turns out to be advertised as the stolen "Bingo". Zinny quietly returns Bingo, not wanting to get Jake into trouble, but he steals it again, bringing it back to her, and Zinny is getting quite annoyed at constantly receiving the dog and returning it. I liked Zinny as a character; she's a typical teen with a somewhat rebellious attitude, yet she honestly looks at herself and questions her motivations and values. She tries to understand who she is as a person, but doesn't take herself too seriously. It was also nice to have a mystical side to this book. Uncle Nate and little Ben see the dead Aunt Jessie and know she's real. No one else believes it, but even Zinny thinks she has seen her. This is a sweet story, but not sappy. The characters are genuine and likable. I read aloud for an hour or two at a time without losing the interest of my listeners.
Rating: Summary: Avid reader from Ca. Review: I loved this book!(more than walk two moons which got a newberry award!)I only gave it four stars because there isn't a 4 1/2. I wouldn't give it a five because its to sad. But mostly I enjoyed it.
Rating: Summary: A 14-year-old reader Review: I love this book! I got it a couple of years ago as a B-day present, and couldn't put it down! I've read it four or five times since then and love it even more every time I read it!
Rating: Summary: One of the best books of all Time! Review: "Life is like a bowl of spaghetti, sometimes you get a meatball." This book will touch your heart so much. Zinnia Taylor's complicated life reaches your soul and you get hooked into the book. The characters in the book are beautiful, and each character has an interesting part of the book. This book really shows the meaning of life. Aunt Jessie and Rose feel like the base of the book, and the comfort! \ You should really read this book!
