Rating: Summary: POWER OF FIRE HAVE I OVER THEE Review: the trilogy was nice...i pretty much liked all of it until we reached the part when they all say Cassie and Adam are soulmates and they make them kiss each other...HELLO what about Diane? did anyone consider her feelings? thats what sucks about it...she had history with adam, don't you think its rather hard on her to see her EX kiss a new girl?? Diane is a neat character but way too unrealistically nice...but all in all it was a nice trilogy
Rating: Summary: Good! Review: L.J.Smith makes the sexiest characters. Too bad Cassie didn't get together with Nick! I really loved it though, although the ending was predictable (the ultimate good triumps over evil). Her books are really hard to find and currently I'm still waiting for Strange Fate, her latest NightWorld book.
Rating: Summary: L.J. Smith is the best Review: This series is great although just about all of her series are hard to find. I totally recommend reading them. The only one I have left to read is the Vampire Diaries, which is impossible to locate. The best I have ever read is the Secret Circle, and I hope she expands on this series.
Rating: Summary: The Best Book Ever! Review: This is the best book I have ever read. The trilogy captivated me from start to finish. It is romantic, exciting, and powerful all at the same time. It made me really feel for the characters as if the were real people. I found myself actually talking out loud to the characters (like they heard me, yeah right). Parts even brought a tear to my eye.
Rating: Summary: This book rules Review: I've read all LJ's books and The Secret Circle trilogy is the best. I've never read another book quite like it. I love these books so much I've read them about 20 times in the past year... and I'm not exaggerating. Great book, excelent ending to the series... too bad it's so hard to get.
Rating: Summary: Hmm...predictable??? Review: I don't know...I could already know the ending before it happened, and even more, how it happened...it was predictable, but still good writing...I liked the first two and awaited the third, but it only confirmed what i knew was to happen...but the little twists made it a worth while read...
Rating: Summary: The eternal battle between good and evil Review: The whole trilogy was exciting and these books embed mythology into the story. The reader notices Cassie's gradual change throughout the books. She isn't the "perfect Barbie/Disney heroine" type girl, and through time she learns how to speak up, finds true friends, discovers her inner strength and beauty, and finds her soulmate, Adam. A girl dreams of finding "Mr.Right" and seeing the fireworks, and with these stories a girl can continue dreaming. LJ Smith writes about a girl who can rely on herself and her girlfriends instead of a man, so hats off to her.
Rating: Summary: Deeper Than Most Teens Might Think! Review: The Power is the conclusion to Secret Circle which I have had been waiting for so long... It has become one of my favorite 3 volumes series story. The story is about someone special who discovered her heritage as well as love in a whole different world. It is profound, a spiritual place where one might take for granted, between good and evil forces. These books let one's mind appreciates the elements that revolve around her and the reader. It connects us to her, seeing the vulnerable yet courageous girl in action against those who plot to seize her love and her soul.
Rating: Summary: Secret Circle Review: There are only a few authors I love; Jane Austen, Dean Koontz, William Shakespeare, and Stephen king. L.J. Smith is incredible enough to pull all of these styles together. Romance, suspense, horror, and tragedy. Secret Circle, with all its intensity, is still one of my all-time favorites. I love the way she displays witches. It takes imigination to think of them that way. Society tends to rely on "Glinda the Good Witch" or those cackling, emerald countenaces thwarted with warts as witches. L.J. Smith has put beauty and normality back into black magic and she literally bewitched me. Smith has a page turner of a trilogy here and unfortunately, my friend won't give my beloved books back.
Rating: Summary: This series has it all!!!! Review: Well, I read the last book in the series.....and I want more!! I loved the whole story about the witches and the symbolism of the candles, and calling the elements, Earth, Air, Fire and Water. I truly loved the triangle with Cassie, Nick, and Adam. Even though I thought Cassie should have given Nick another chance, secretly I knew her heart belongs to Adam. And to read that everyone in the coven stood behind Cassie and helped her beat the evil lurking in their town. After I read the last page, I was ready to read more about the lives of Cassie, Adam, Nick, Diana, Faye, and all the others! Outstanding job and I'll re-read this series again! (As I always do!)
