Rating: Summary: The Secret Circle Review: I have read every book that L.J. Smith has written,(except Strange Fate) and they were all wonderful. I cant seem to pick a favorite they are all great. I really love this book because all the loose ends get tied up. I can relate to Cassies character because she has some of the same problems that other teenage girls have. I agree with some of the other readers that Cassie and Nick should have gotten together, but I understand that Cassie and Adam are meant to be.If you like a woman as your protagonist then you will like this book. Even if you are not into mystical things or witches this is still an amazing book. Go read it now!
Rating: Summary: I'm actually reviewing the whole trilogy Review: I have to say, i love this whole trilogy. I love the twists, the romance, the horror, everything. Smith is one of my fave authors. And like almost evryone else who reviewed this book, I wish Cassie and Nick had stuck together. I mean, we all love the "tough guy with the heart of gold". I know Cassie and Adam were soulmates, but when we learned more about Nick, its just like, "Adam? Whose that? Oh, yeah, that guy." But yeah, it was a totally great book, and I've been rereading it again and again. Word of advice: Don't buy the first one and see if you like it before buying the other two. You'll love it and you'll go insane waiting for the next one.
Rating: Summary: Secret Circle Vol. 3 (The Initiation) Review: i love L.J. Smith's books! they're really great. i'm more into the vampires, but this book was really cool even though it was on witches. i like the character Cassie, but i was very disappointed at the ending. i know that adam is cassie's soulmate, but nick is so much better! i felt sorry for him, because he was being totally honest when he said cassie was the first girl he ever cared for. also if diana really does love adam, why will she give him up? it might be obvious that cassie is his soulmate, but no sane girl will give her love up that easily. plus nick's much mor cooler.
Rating: Summary: The final battle. Review: In the final book of The Secret Circle trilogy, Cassie and her coven discover the truth about what happened when the evil spirit of Black John last rose, nearly sixteen years ago. Then the ultimate shock comes as Cassie discovers her true heritage. But she must put her personal feelings aside if the coven is to win the final battle - and survive. I highly reccomend this series, and the rest of L. J. Smith's books, to teens.
Rating: Summary: this book was awesome Review: I liked this book a lot, but the ending was kind of disappointing for me. Nick was in the picture, but then he just faded out like he didn't matter. I agree the ending was kind of cheesy with Diana giving her permission to Adam and Cassie in the middle of the circle. But other than that I think the book was very interesting. Some of the things that happened I did not think of, but they made sense. I like how L.J. Smith makes sure every character that you ever read about has a purpose. It's really intriguing. You have to read this book.
Rating: Summary: Best of the Three Review: It was the best book out of the whole trilogy. Reading it brings the other two together. It ends really good. You'll never guess how it ends. Very suprising. Everyone pulls together to help out the coven. It ended too soon, though.
Rating: Summary: Bewitching Review: As a series these books were by far the among the best I have ever read. As the new girl in the town of New Salem Cassy is in initiated in to one of the most eliet clubs of all. The Secret Circle is a group of young witches that are in sreach of the powers of the orgional Coven of witches of Salem, Massachusetts. Cassy must not only fight the Supernatural evil in the town, but also fight the so called evil inside herself. To keep her desires insode where no one can see. As Cassy Finialy realizes the true Power inside herself she must fight the most terrable evil New Salem has ever seen, and it has seen it brfore. But most of all she has to face the most horrable evil of all, herself. With conflicting feeling for fellow Circle member Adam, Cassy must keep her passion and desires inside to save the Coven. Being elected as new Coven Leader Cassy has to stand and fight the ever eliv and never dying Black John. Cassy defeats him with the power of the old ways and the rest of her friends. And realizes that Adam and her were ment to be together. Soul Mates. I recommend this book to any young adult, heck even adults will love these books. They are a fast paced and heart pumping read. Full of mystery, love, defeat, action, and trymph. Two thumbs way way up for L.J. Smith!
Rating: Summary: WONDERFUL Review: this is a book that you can read over and over again. cassie is a great character and you get caught up with what she's feeling. l.j smith keeps the reader captivated the whole time (just like she has with all her other books too!)and i try to read as many of her books as i can find and i love them all!
Rating: Summary: Magical Review: This story was great, The Forbidden Game was my favorite but now i'm not so sure. Cassie and the other characters taught me lots of things, bravery, courage, love, friendship and facing the darkness. The story is fictional, but when I read it I felt as if it was a real legend or something with deep meanings. The characters were all strong and the story was the best and everyone who reads it will learn many things from it that will stay with them forever, I don't think anyone who read these books is gonna forget them ever I hope I don't! L.J. Smith is my favorite author she's the best. Hope everyone enjoys it as much as I did.
Rating: Summary: Awsome book Review: I read all 3 books in less than a week. Every minute was exciting and it was one of those books you hate to put down. I felt that the ending of "The Power" was a tad cheesy considering Cassie and Adam were now a couple so easily with the consent of Princess Diana, But over all it was a heart warming story about the true strength of a friendship. And through the stages of a young teenage girls life. I also think this author did a great job of writing a some-what serious story dealing with a fictional plot but also adding fact into it. I was amazed at how addictive this book can get. It was a great book I think theres room for a sequal because I absolutly fell in love with all the characters even that cat woman Faye !
