Summary: I loved it soooooo much!
Review: I cried, laughed, got mad, was thrilled, and all in this awesome book! I loved it! Christy has been a friend to me, and I'm sad that the book is over. I've been looking foreward to reading it for so long! I know that Mrs. Gunn will write more though! She wouldn't leave us hanging on what happened! Well, it was Great! 5 huge stars!:-)

Summary: Great end to the Series
Review: I got hooked on this series last year, and totally fell in love with the simple romance of it all. This book, which I waited for forever to get, surprised me. It wasn't as well written as the others, as I had expected it to be, but it was a good end to the series, and still finished it in less than three days. It let you know where everyone that you had grown to love was heading in their life. A good solid effort. I enjoyed it, and would recommend it to anyone who likes romance, and is above 16. Otherwise you won't be able to appreciate it nearly as much.

Review: I read the Christy Miller series when I was in Junior High, grade 6 to be exact, and I loved them! They really fastened me in my walk with Christ and encouraged me to pursue God's best for me. When Robin JOnes Gunn came out with the College Years I was so excited. This last book, "I Promise", gives us all what we've been waiting for through our years and experiences with Todd and Christy. This book, and this series, has given me so much insight on life, relationships, and such. I highly reccommend this book! And I really hope the Robin Jones Gunn will continue writing more about Christy and Todd and their friends! God has gifted her!

Summary: Awesome book.... but....
Review: I so loved this book, The entire Christy and Sierra series are awesome. Except that I really think that there should be another one, It doesn't tell us what happens between Katie and Rick, or About Tracy and Doug's Baby, or about When Christy gives Todd the box of Letters, or About if they ever have kids, everything, there is so much more to be told. But This series is really incredible! I loved it! I never get tired of reading it, and I think that you should write more Robin!!!!

Review: I've been reading the Christy Miller books since I was 13 years old. I love them. Then are unique books. A lot of Christian teen books aren't good because of lack of detail and feeling but, there's something about these books. Robin Jones Gunn is truly a gifted writer. She herself is a peculiar treasure and a true God-lover.
I am now 16 years old and I still read these books. (I would recommend reading the "Sierra Jensen Series" after you read the Christy Miller series.) I went on to read the Sierra Jensen series and then the finally "Christy and Todd: The College Years". All these books are remarkable. Never have I read a book, or series of books that I loved so very much.
Since this is that last book that Mrs. Gunn plans on writing of our beloved "friends" who have become very real in our lives: Christy, Todd, Katie, Doug, Tracey, Rick, Sierra, Randy, Amy, and even Wes, I make a plea to you Mrs. Gunn not to stop writing about these characters you've brought into ourlives, but, if you must, I thank you so much for doing so.(If something is spoken three times it is sealed):Thank you, Thank you, Thank you

Summary: An ending to a wonderful series
Review: Mrs. Gunn is really a talented author. Her books really made me open up to God and I only wish she would write more Todd and Christy books. If you're looking for a series with romance, friendship and faith look no longer. I also suggest you read her Glenbrooke series and Sierra Jensen series.

Summary: The BEST!
Review: Omigosh, this book is SOOOO good! If you've been reading the whole Christy Miller and Christy and Todd series then you MUST read this book! It's great! This book made me laugh, cry, made me mad, sad, and happy. It made me laugh when they went to their couples party at Bob and Marti's and Todd kept looking for a gunnysack to cover him and for him to be dressed as a chicken and chained to a boat (like Doug had been before his wedding). It made me cry when Tracy announced that her and Doug were having a baby and might have to move to Oregon (it was tears of happiness), also when Christy grandfather died (sadness). It made me mad about how Todd dealt with the wedding plans so lightly, Christy practically planned the whole wedding! It made me sad when I was finished and I realized that the whole series was over. It was kind of depressing. It made me happy when they were finally married. This book is great, a great finale to the Christy Miller (or should I say Spencer) books. It made me realize the purity and greatness of virginity. It also made me realize how hard marriage is for awhile (by Todd and Christy's apartment). If you love Todd and Christy you will love this book!

Review: Robin Jones Gunn's books are AMAZING.... I read the Christy Miller series when I was around 12 or 13. I just recently read the Sierra Jensen series, along with Christy and Todd: The College Years... and I'm 16 now. I would recommend these books to any Christian or non-Christian who wants to read a book about teens that actually has a good message and is filled with "clean fun". These books are more than that, though. They give you a new understanding of life, and they made me realize how I needed to re-prioritize my life, and put God on top. I can only hope that this is not the last we hear from Christy, Todd, Katie, Rick, Doug, Tracy, Sierra, Paul, Randy, Wes, ETC.

Summary: AT LONG LAST!!!!!!!!!
Review: The wish of every Christy Miller fan comes true in this final book. I felt like I was with the characters throughout the entire book. Each person in the series seems so real! I hope the books keep coming about Christy & Todd. If this is the absolute final book, it was a great finale! Anyone who has read Christy and Todd's story over the years will not be disappointed with the outcome of this book. I read the book in one day, and I felt like I was saying goodbye to old friends. This is a must-read for any Christy fan! Great job, Robin!
