Rating: Summary: What an amazing book. I didn't put this book down Review: this is an execelent book that you will not put down. let me sugjest that you read the book "the face on the milk carton" first then immideatly go out and buy this book because it is awsome. it will have you begging for mor once your finish. it has ever element of literature. hummor, love, sadness, curiosty, amasment. you name it and this book has it.
Rating: Summary: Things aren't always what they seem to be. Review: This is a fantastic book. It's about a girl who, after discovering she was kidnapped at the age of three, goes to live with her real family. She discovers she was kidnapped when finds her face on a milk carton during lunch. She takes it home and doesn't tell her "real parents." But to find out if she goes to live with her real family or her other family you have to read the book for your self. And if you like books you can't put down this book is for you!
Rating: Summary: It's a very good book. Review: It is a very good book although I would have changed the part about not really trying to get along with the Springs. {Janie was a little too spoiled} She really could have tried a little harder.
Rating: Summary: Strangely Intriguing! Review: This book was wonderful and suspenseful! I have read all three...each one in 1 day each! This one was my favorite, though! I loved the Springs, and I hope I read right that there is a 4th book coming out! These books are great!
Rating: Summary: This book made me cry! Review: I liked this book so much! It made me think how much I love my family and how hard it would be to have two family's and have to choose between them. I would recomend everyone to read this series!
Rating: Summary: This is a perfect example of sequels being better. Review: This is a great book with a deeper, more relatable plot than the first book of the series. It has a fantastic plot with many interesting twists and turns throughout to keep you on your toes. The character development is very intricate and gives you a clear sense of each character's personality. It's definetly a winner!
Rating: Summary: Be sure to read these books with a box of tissues! Review: I absolutely loved this book, the one before it, and the one after it. Mrs. Cooney is one of my favorite authors. She really knows how to make the characters and situations come alive. As I read these books, I felt as if I were there, just watching over everything. I felt as if I totally connected with Janie. The books focus on love, trust, and friendships...the three most important emotions a teenager goes through. I would reccomend this three book mini series to anyone looking to lose themselves in a whole different world.
Rating: Summary: This book is a MUST READ! Review: In the first book, The face on the Milk carton, Janie Johnson sees her face on a milk carton, marking her 3-year-old picture as a kidnapped child. In Whatever happened t Janie? Janie, who now realizes her name is Jennie Spring, if forced to live with her real family. This book is much like a divorce of parents. Not hating one, but afraid to seem like you like that one, lest it be betraying the other. Janie goes through a lot of this, it's hard for her and her new family. Once you read this, you'll just HAVE to go buy the sequal. In this book, especially if you have gone through or been in a divorce, you WILL cry. I did, the feelings are the exact ones from times like those. You'll cry for Janie, you'll cry for the Springs and you'll cry for the Johnsons, one minute you'll squeal with joy, the next you'll cringe in disgust, the emotions are this intense. This is one of the books you will read over and over and over and over and over again.
Rating: Summary: A real page turner! Review: After I read, The Face on the Milk Cartoon, I NEEDED to read this book and went excitedly to get it. This not only shows the reality of the events, but makes you really appreciate your family.
Rating: Summary: It is the best book I have read for years Review: This book is addictive. I couldn.t possibly put it down. When I finished I was a little dissapointed at the ending, then I heard there was a continuotion in another book. To my delight I numerously read about my favorite characters in all three wonderful books. I think Caroline B. Cooney really brought these characters to life. Once you read the book you can't help but want to know more about Janie and her two families.
