Summary: Whatever Happened to Janie - By Cyrena
Review: I gave this book two thumbs up, Whatever Happened to Janie was a great sequel to the thrills of The Face in the Milk Carton. Most sequels just drag on about "The rest of the story" but not this, it was a whole new story in itself. Continuing the life of Janie Johnson or Jennie Spring, and the trials of her new life with the Spring's. Not being an only child any more, not knowing anybody on a personal basis, and most importantly always missing her old family. Never could Janie be their daughter, it made me sad how she always fought their love. Janie couldn't even bring her self to hug her real mom or dad, and she never participated in anything the other four Spring children did, I almost wanted to slap her for the pain she was causing everyone But, who could blame her, how would you feel if you found out that you had been kidnapped from your real family, been tricked into to loving another family for almost fourteen years, then were pulled away and taken again to your real family who are now strangers in your world? The story of this young girls life is almost devastating, but it hurts you more to discover the betrayal of her own loving boyfriend in the next sequel The Voice on the Radio.

Summary: "Whatever Happened to Janie?"
Review: This book is a great sequel to, "The Face on the Milk Carton." It is packed with sad scenes, funny scenes, and it never made me feel bored. I always wanted to keep reading, and never set the book down. I would recommend this book to children, teenagers, and adults who are mature and ready to face real life situations that can occur.
In this book, the reader will be re-introduced to Janie Johnson, a loved, only child, and ordinary 15 year old teenager whose life is broken into a million pieces when she discover that she was kidnapped by the Johnson's daughter, Hannah. Janie finds out why, and how all of this happened. She also learns more about her biological family, the Spring's.
It had been about 12 years since the Spring family had seen Janie, who they called Jennie. After all of the fear and curiosity that had been put into the past Janie, or to the Spring's Jennie, was finally coming home. There was no need to worry anymore whether or not she was scared, hungry, in pain, or unhappy. She was coming home.
How could Janie live with total strangers? How could she call these strangers mom and dad, or brothers and sisters? How could she adjust into becoming a middle child rather than an only child? How could she leave Janie Johnson behind when she knew deep down inside of herself that she was Jennie Spring? You can find out all of these answers and who she really believes she is, Janie Johnson or Jennie Spring, if you read this excellent book that teaches you that there are some very difficult situations in life.

Summary: Is this story really true? Did it really happen?
Review: Ten years ago I read this story and introduced it to my then 10 year daughter. I have raved about this book to my friends long ago. And I am sitting now on the net, I thought about it and begin to search for it on the net. As I am reading the reviews of other opinions on this book, I 'm wondering if it really took. Please give me answer. I feel really stupid now. I thought it really happened. Nonetheless, it was an excellent little book.

Summary: More from the Milk Lady By: Abbey
Review: I could not put this book down. It was great! I thought it was so suspenseful. The author kept throwing in more and more interesting things on to the book. Caroline B. Cooney had a good way of getting me into Janie's head. It expressed all her thoughts of how she was feeling about moving in with her REAL family. This book is really cool because it switches to different people through-out the book. It lets you see not only what Janie is thinking but it lets you see how her REAL sister and brother Jodie and Stephen are feeling. Sometimes they like Janie, but other times they absolutly hate her! It also lets you get into her boyfriend Reeve's head. He tells about how much he misses her and he says that he would have much rather done more than talking with her. But don't worry it doesn't get into any detail. It just sort of hints what he wants to do. Parents I know what your thinking. But this is a really good book. If you think your kid is too young, well don't worry about it, they will just think that they want to kiss.Smooch, Smooch.I would definatly recomend this book. I loved it so much that I am starting on the third book.
