Summary: very good book
Review: (...)Her books are extremely well written and even though they're short(which is not a bad thing in any way)they don't leave you dissatisfied. If anything, the books leave you wanting to read more about other characters. This to me shows that the book is very good and the author knows what she id doing. She knows how people act and writes to circumstances that she knows about which makes it better. For someone as young as this it is incredible and I commend her efforts. Not everyone has time to write this incredible books at her age and shouldn't be criticized on their length. Most people don't even have the skill and patience. I know she'll have much success and I hope she doesn't let jealous people bring her down.

Summary: very good book
Review: It's kind of funny reading these reviews for her books. One girl criticized her for writing and then used bad grammar in the review. Others just have no open-mind and don't see the world for what it is. Some people don't ever grow up, and it shows. I just wanted to state this because I'm not sure how old these people are but they are lacking in the maturity they claim they have. Her books are extremely well written and even though they're short(which is not a bad thing in any way)they don't leave you dissatisfied. Summary: Good. But too much referrance to herself.
Review: As a thirteen year old female writer myself. I can relate to Amelia. Amelia was thirteen when she first wrote this book and I writing a book my self find the urge to use referraces to myself in my writings (such as my hometown, saying there is a 'young writer'in my writings who writes about the same things i do etc.). I found this book to be one of the best I've read. But one of the flaws I noticed was that she reffers to much to her self. There were two main settings: New York City and Concord Massachusetts. Amelia happens to live in Concord Ma, so thats one example of her usage of refferances to her self. She also said in this book that there is a 'young author'named Jessica in the neighborhood in Concord that writes about Vampires and Witches. I thought that was too much of a referrance. Although I enjoyed the way she slightly mentioned it in this novel and then wrote another novel just about Jessica. But I thought she could have done that in a way so that Jessica wasn't so much like herself because I think it hurt both novels. Amelia's writings are suspenceful, and overall great but I think if she took this constructive critism it would make her writings much better.

Summary: A really good book...
Review: This book was REALLY good. It even made me start a book of my own about vampires...its not finished yet. Anywayz...this book really gives ya that feeling where you can't put it down. A friend let me borrow this book because i needed one... my language arts teacher was grading one of those participation/ reading grades and i had forgot my book at home. Im glad i asked. Too bad Amelia only wrote 3 books. I read this one and "demon in my view". I can't wait to get "shattered glass"! Actually, its just my opinion, but...i really think "demon in my view" was much better than this one...not that i dont like this one, i really enjoyed this one...its just that the other one involves alot more characters and events that are a lot more exciting. So you should read that one, if you havent already. Anywayz...the point is ALL her books are ausome and youve really got to read them ALL to enjoy her unique writing.

Summary: Good Start
Review: Yes, I liked it. But it could've been better. I found the ending dull and not-at-all satisfying. Some things were good, and I was surprised that a fourteen year old wrote it, that inspired me. I will recommend this book, it's a buy-at-a-used-book-store-book. I will read it again.

Summary: Mediocre
Review: The book was okay for a freshman book, could of been better. There's just no depth really there. She really doesn't connect with her characters nor does she with the readers. The ending was just there.

Summary: What? The Author's Fourteen??????
Review: Wow. This book was deep, dark and mysterious, like a river in the night. It is about a three hundred year old vampire named Risika who still clings to humanity through her lost brother and beloved tiger. But when both are taken away from her she finds herself turning into a predator, killing humans in order to live. By presenting the story from the viewpoint of the vampire herself, this book definitely gives you a complex look at humanity from a higher level. This brilliant novel isn't any Buffy the Vampire Slayer; a TV series about, well, a vampire slayer. This book makes vampires seem almost real. The thing that stands out in my mind is that while Risika looks and talks like a human, she isn't one. I've read the sequel, but it isn't as good.
