Summary: NEW BOOK! NEW AUTHOR! NEW BOOK!
Review: The DIVINE WORLDS. Aliania is the spellmaker. She must travel the lands with her friend Aster to find the evil Aeriand master Dith Lan Fur. If she cannot defeat the evil that lurks, earth will be forever doomed. Not even her mentor, the great Merlin, is able to stop the destruction this monster could create.

Summary: Great, but not the best. Could use...less predicticality.
Review: I have to say I loved this book, even if it was not the best book I have ever read. I am not a particular fan of vampire stories anyhow. I am tempted to say that it was very good--for her first book, like many other people have, but I know that if Amelia Atwater-Rhodes was an adult, no one would say that. Being 13 myself though, I know I could never do what she did. I found that this book, although I could't put it down, did not really have the suspense I've found in the few other vampire novels I've read. It was gripping, but it did not really frighten or thrill me. The ending of the book was almost painfully obvious.

Summary: Wonderful, a vampire novel that I enjoyed totaly
Review: I'm a 33 year old mother of two daughters, I read all vampire books, and when I got this one I had no idea it was written by a 14year old girl. I have to say she is a great young writer and on the way to a big career!! I am saving this book for my girls to read when they are older. Keep up the great work Amelia!!!!! Anyone who enjoys horror and a very good story GET THIS BOOK!!!!

Summary: Great start for a young writter
Review: I thought this was a great book. I being a young writter myself, and the same age loved it. I first heard about her on The Rosie O'Donell Show, and was not sure if I was going to read it or not. I found it the book store, and saw that it was the last copy. I jumped for it, and have not been able to put it down since. Even if you are not a fan of this type of book, I recemend reading it. It is not every day you find a 14 year old with talents like hers.

Summary: KIDS LOVE THIS BOOK AND THAT THE AUTHOR IS THEIR AGE .
Review: I am the 21 year old manager of a small children's book store & I recieved a copy of this book a few months ago. I've been telling kids about it ever since. Everyone that I sent home with it has come back to thank me Kids love it because it is a great vampire novel & because it was written by one of them. Parents love it because they hope it will inspire their kids to write. Thanks Amelia, for showing us that a good writer can be any age. Look out Anne Rice, you've got stiff competition from a 15 year old.

Summary: A great addition to my supernatural library...
Review: Welllll, as many have read, I also found out about 'In the Forests of the Night' from Seventeen magazine. At first, I was interested in the book because it is by a member of Wicca (I am as well), who is about my age. I finally convinced my mother to hand over the mere dollars to buy the book. WOW! I read it in two days, which suits my attention span, and loved it! I did not stop talking about the vampire Risika until my mother finally gave into the temptation of reading the beautiful covered masterpiece that gives the "teens" a better name. oh yeah, and the poem "The Tiger" is one of my favorites, so i guess that is one of the reasons that I wanted to read the book...I dunno, but i loved the book!

Summary: Brooding, hypnotic; good escapist fare
Review: This book can be rather hypnotic in its brooding tone, especially after Midnight. Though spartan in its details, one can easily "feel" the events as they're played out across the pages. Miss Atwater-Rhodes deftly conveys the emotions of a lone vampiress still stinging from her transformation 300 years ago, at the zenith of her adolescence. This is a short book which can be consumed in two or three sittings. But you'll be thinking about the story for some time thereafter.

Summary: Brilliant and Beautiful
Review: I thought this book was spectacular. I loved it and as an aspiring teen writer myself was very impressed.

Summary: EXCELLENT MUST READ!
Review: i was really thrilled to read this book because i loved the cover art. i saw it in seventeen magazine first, and i was all....cool! she writes about exactly what i want to read. if you read this book, "blood and chocolate" by annette curtis klause, and "the silver kiss" are a must read too. if that is your style of book, which it is for me. i read this book, and the story line was really good, but it needs some more big vocabulary. other than that, it was superb. i really look forward to her next book. hope she keeps up the good work and her writing skills!

Summary: Fantastic!
Review: This book is very suspensful, descriptive, and fun to read. I think that it is a great book for Middle School students and I will be recommending it to mine. It demonstrates that you do not have to be over 21 to get a book published.

I look forward to future adventures of this character written by this articulate young woman.
