Summary: Nice Read
Review: This book was very good but a little too short. I'm taking that into the account that the author is only 14 years old and people her age rarely write books not to metion get published. This book is easily in the top 50 out of 750 I've read in the past three years (I'm only 13 myself). I'd recomend this book along with my favorite book ever Companions of the Night by Vivian Vande Velde. Anyone can e-mail me at MegsTamika@webtv.net to share recomendations.

Summary: Excellent... more power to you, Amelia
Review: Very well written, and I am not going to dwell too much on the author only being fourteen. It was a nice read. The language was free-flowing, the characters were very well portrayed. The fight scene near the end was brilliantly described.

I noticed a few of the online critics were kind of harsh about the book. Give her a break! It's rare that anyone her age gets published. More power to you, Amelia. And I await, somewhat impatiently, I might add, for your next book.

Summary: This book is eloquently written.
Review: This book illustrates the true emotional torment people have and excites action which satisfies my taste for great climaxes. Risika/Rachel is truly a strong character who plays her role with fluency and essence.

Summary: Review for "In the Forests of the Night"
Review: I thought this book was amazing! I've always been fascinated my vampires and such folklore, and this book has made me want to learn as much as I can! I also found it very inspirational, because I am a 14-year-old aspiring author, and just the fact that someone my age can finally receive recognition and respect as a writer gives me the courage to go after my dream! Keep it up, Amelia! I can't wait to read your future work.

Summary: Very Inspiring!
Review: I am also a teenage author, but never see any books by teenagers on library shelves. I am inspired by this book to keep writing. It is also a tale of the greatest power of all, the love of family.

Summary: excellent book
Review: I think this book is very powerful. It is about her dark world but can also be seen as ours. I think it is excellent and you should read it straight away.

Summary: It's the best vampier novel I read in a loooong time!
Review: If anybody out there gave this book a bad review [yeah i'm talking to you people who said "oh, well the writing was disappointing." you are way off.] I don't know what you were thinking. I'm ten and I'm working incredebly hard at finishing my first novel. Don't laugh. And I've never read a more wonderful easy read! The story line was terrific and the charactors were inspiring. For all of you who didn't like this book because it didn't have "class", I quite frankly am a very satified customer. You can bet your life savings i'm buying her next book! She is fourteen and a wonderful writer and I can only hope i've gotten that far when i'm fourteen. This book was truly wonderful!

Summary: This is a great book for those who enjoy Christopher Pike.
Review: This book focuses on the past of a vampire, Risika, who struggles with her own memories and morals. The tone of the book is very much like that of Christopher Pike, but offers fresh idealism into what a vampire really is. I have read some of the other reviews of this book and hope that no one else will think of this book as a publicity stunt. This author has not changed in her actions towards others during the course of her publicity. She would prefer to stay away from all the media. Anway...back to the book..This is a novel focusing on traits of vampires not usually used--the heroine is not affected by crosses or holy water. I like how the author left out the religious acpects of the beleifs about vampires. As Aubrey's #1 fan, I highly reccomend this book.
