Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: 13 year old! Review: I love this book and demon in my view, they will always have a place on my shelf! I look up to this girl, she's my role model, because she published her first book, this one, when she was only 13. That's my goal. This may be one of the best books I have ever read, and I'm a veracious reader. And writer... but I just love this book and will recommend it to anyone who want's more than just a lazy day book... this is an adventure.

I would love to possibly write it, (yeah, keep dreaming!) This is THE BEST BOOK!! I would reccomed it totally! It's a must read for anybody, except younger children that are easily scared.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: An awesome imaginative world. Review: This book was awesome. I couldn't put it down and I finished the day I started it. I'd recommend that anyone who is even remotely interested in vampires and fantasy books that they read this. It took me into a new and inventive world where there were no rules, only survival. I especially liked the way the author used vampires as the main characters, it held a certain sense of irony. In fact, irony was used quite often in this book and this made it even more enjoyable. I think that if you haven't read it you should, because I expect a lot out of a book and this is one of my favorites.

Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: mUsT rEaD!! Review: This book is exhilarating, much better than I percieved. It is a pretty quick read, which was good. This book is about Risika, a human-turned vampire. Risika was changed into a vampire about 300 years ago, but hasn't aged a bit since. She still looks 17 years old. At day, she stays in an old manor in Concord, Massachusetts. By night, she prowls the streets of New Mayhem, sometimes daring enough to go into the territory of her enemy, Aubrey. In The Forests of the Night diminished the assumptions that I had about vampires, such as their fear of crosses, and the disappearance of their reflection. As time goes on, vampires' reflections fade, but there is still a faint reflection. This novel was an exciting, easy-to-read page turner that makes the fictional world of vampires realistic and believeable.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: How Rachel Turned To Riska Review: Risika is a 300-year-old vampire. She was born as a human named Rachel Weatere in 1684 and was turned into a vampire thanks to her blood mother, Ather. Risika loves and cares for Tora, a beautiful Bengal tiger at the zoo. Aubrey, a powerful vampire and her enemy, kills Tora and Risika takes her revenge for Tora and her twin brother that he killed 300 years ago.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Goes beyond your conventional vampire Review: This book blew my mind! I just picked it up and didn't put it down untill I finished it. It's a short read, which is okay. Amelia Atwater- Rhodes will definitely go far when she grows up more. When she writes about vampires, she went beyond the conventional, "Kill the vampire with garlic and crosses and call it a night". The character in her book, Risika, even says, "I do dislike the smell of garlic, but if your sense of smell was twenty times stronger than that of an average bloodhound, would you not dislike it as well?" Her writing goes from the present to the past to show how exactly her character, Risika, becomes a vampire. The book is basically about this character, Risika, trying to live her life as a vampire. She is 300 years old, but looks 17 (Which is pretty sweet). She has a constant rivalry against Aubrey, a male vampire that killed her brother in the 1700s when she was human. The rivalry goes to the next level when Risika decides to go against the vampire law of staying out of other vampire's territory. The whole story is well-written and extremely creative. I recommend this book to anyone who's interested in any mythology. This book is a must read.
