Summary: Okay, not as good as the others
Review: In the other books you could not tell what would happen next, but in this book I could predict what would happen and it would take the fun out of it. Ms. Cooney is an excellent writer, but she could have ended the story with a bit more pizzaz. I want other books about Janie to be written, but written well. The book had an excellent plot, but she didn't use it right. E mail me for any flames bout my comment.

Summary: This book is about how Revee betrayed Janie.
Review: This was a wonderful book. It was about how Revee betrayed Janie. Once I started to read it I just could not put it down I loved it. This book I think still has a little bit of the romance that the other two have, but not as much. Janie really becomes closer to her biologial family in this book. Caroline B. Cooney really needs to keep this series going. Because I liked it and I know other people who like it too. I would like to say that this is a better book for tennage girls.

Summary: This is a great book
Review: I like the book "The Voice on the Radio." When I started reading it I couldn't put it down. Reeve the man she trusted betrayed her by telling her story on the college radio. When Janie finds out her trust for Reeve is gone. This is a suspensful and great book. I recomend it to any teen.

Summary: This was practically the worst book in the world
Review: This book was horrible. It had no details in it to make the story seem real. It was only a book about a girl who got betrayed by her boyfriend. This is nothing compared to her first experiences in the first two books. She found out that she was kidnapped when she was three years old from a woman who belonged to a cult. This book only tells about what happened afterwards, which is really boring. I bet other readers who read the first two books think this also. No one should read this book. It did not deserve to be published!

Summary: Great book
Review: Janie Johnson is finally learning to live with the fact that she is kidnapped. She is starting to enjoy her life until she founds out Reeve, her boyfriend, is broadcasting her story to the world for publicity. This is a great book, and it was a good idea for a continuation, but I agree with lots of the other reveiwers. It had a weak ending. That's the reason why I rated it 7 instead of 10.

Summary: Great, but disappointing
Review: When I first initiated to read this novel, I was ecstatic and curious to discover what was to happen next. But unfortunately, when I came to the end, I was incredibly DISAPPOINTED. I did not enjoy the end of the book. It's okay if you want to waste your time.

Summary: This book tells the awful way Reeve betrayed Janie.
Review: Janie finally feels like she is getting closer to her real brothers and sister, and maybe her life is finally setting down. Although Reeve is at college, and Janie misses him very much she hopes to visit him at his Boston college. Jaine's sister is also looking for colleges in the Boston area, so they go there to see Reeve for a suprise visit. But when they arrive Reeve isn't the only one who gets a BIG suprise.

Summary: not as good as the first two
Review: I waited a long time for this book to come out in paperback, (It still hasn't) and when I saw it at the library I was very happy. I read non-stop till I was finished, but when I was done I was slightly disappointed. The first two books in this series were much better than the latest one. In the first books Reeve would only think of Janie, in this book he seemed to have a complete personality switch. He thought of Janie very little and when he did it was to assure himself that she would never find out about what he was doing. I think that this book would have been better if Reeve wouldn't have been such a creep-but then again there wouldn't have been a book if he had been nice... And although I don't see why Janie forgave Reeve, it would have been even worse if she had dumped him for good. So even though this was not the gratest book it was still OK.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: A saccharine sweet story that makes you feel a bit too good
Review: I loved "The Face on the Milk Carton." I enjoyed "Whatever Happened to Janie?". I read "The Voice on the Radio" out of habit and curiosity, and came away rather disappointed. They say all good things must come to an end. Well, Ms. Cooney, the good in this series has definitely ended, but when will it end? The fact that Janie forgives Reeve is a giant skip in characterization, and the fact that he was perfect in the last two books really confuses me. This book had a lot of potential, and a good message, but it came out sounding borderline preachy. I'm very disappointed
