Summary: One of the Best xanth books!
Review: I though night mare was probably one of the absolute best xanth books! Imbri is a great character, and the book has a great plot. I recomend reading the series in order, becasue you will understand more of the jokes, and the book will make more sense. If you do find the urge to read the books out of order this one should be near the top of your list!

Review: Imbrium had lost her edge to scare. This might not seem so bad to us, but Imbri was a night mare, a bringer of bad dreams. It seemed that after acquiring half of a soul, her will to frighten had been shoved out. Also, her secret desire to see a rainbow didn't help much either. So her sire, the Night Stallion, retired her from dream duty for two reasons: her edge was lacking, and he had a mission for her. That mission was to save Xanth.

Review: Nightmare was a good read. In it we have the point of view of a horse, not a human, not really a horse either. In Xanth, bad dreams are not accidents but designed. Special horses, night mares deliver them to Xanthians. Bad dreams are lessons to Xanthians to punish them for acting badly. What happens to a horse who no longer can deliver these night mares to others? Why another Xanth novel of course. Night mare is good and keeps the tradition of the early books.

Review: Piers Anthony (also Pier Xanthony writes a tale of a Night Mare, a creature that delivers nightmares. This mare Mare Imbrium gets fired by her boss the Dark Horse. Then she starts an adventure that she risks her body for. I thought this book was great and I couldn't put it down.

Review: Piers Anthony(also Pier Xanthony) writes a tale of a Night Mare, horses that deliver nightmares, that has a half a soul. She was supposed to bring it to her boss the Dark Horse but she didn't so he fired her. So Mare Imbrium, the sea of rains on the moon, starts an adventure to stop the evil Horseman from taking over Xanth. I thought this book was great and I couldn't put it down.

Review: Piers has done it again! I have read all of his Xanth books up to this one. They are all good, but this one has more happening in it than the others! Mundane barbarian warriors think they've gone to war with a rival territory. Wrong! Well, they can't pull out now, so they decide to see if they can take over Xanth. A mysterious person keeps putting the kings in a trance and nobody know's how. It's up to a night mare to set Xanth back to the way it use to be!
