Rating: Summary: The Face On The Milk Carton Review: I think it was a great book, but it was not the type of book I would usually read. it is a exciting book though that's why I gave it three stars!!!
Rating: Summary: the Face on the Milk Carton Review: I think the book was good.I would give this book 4 stars because I really didn't like the beging but then I liked it when I read more. I liked it because it tells more of what happened to her. When she seen her picture on the milk carton she was shocked. When she asked her parents about her being kidnapped they lied to her. Her mother told her no. She aked her mother that she said she needs her birth certificate, and her mother said I'm busy she said what about tommorow she said no she said then I'll go her she said her mother told her not to.So she thought she was kidnapped. Her mother would let her drive but farther wouldn't. Then she found her family.

This book kept me in suspense and made me want to read more and more. It kind of was a mystery at the end and I would definitly read the next book. You may want to read this book for yourself to see just how great it is! My favorite character was probably Reeve. Rating: Summary: face on milk carton Review: This book was ok.The book starts out really slow. But it gets alot better.I did not like the beginning of the the book because it starts out like this Janie finished her essay. At that point you do not even know who Janie is.I would requier this book to other kids probably about 12-13 year old.My favorite part was when she thought she was kidnapped by her parents. It does not tell very good facts about the author. IT explains alot about her and her friends. Like what they look like and what they do.
Rating: Summary: the Face on the MILK CARTON Review: This book was great. Except the begining of it. It began really slow but, besides that it was good.I didn't like the begining because it starts out really dumb! The first sentence is Janie finished her essay.Ok? I mean you have no clue what they are talking about. At that point you don't know who Janie is. But, it gets alot better. It explains what they look like. And what they do.
Rating: Summary: The Face on the Milk Carton Review: I thought this book was a pretty good book. It interested me most because it has a little bit of romance in it. Another reason I like it is because it keeps you wondering and it gave details so I knew what they looked liked. Some of the time when you had to stop reading you would wonder what was goin to happen next and I like that about a book because you can't wait to start reading the next day. This book was when they would put stolen kids on milk cartons when they were lost and it sort of told me about that time. I think Caroline did a good job writing this book so kids my age could understand what they are talking about. Some other reasons I gave this a four star and not a five is because it wasn't really exciting enough but it would keep you on the edge of your seat trying to think of what will happen next. If I was Janie I Probably wouldn't like it. I probably wouldn't like it because i wouldn't like thinking my parents were kidnappers or anything like that. this are just some reasons I like this book.
Rating: Summary: The Face on the Milk Carton Review: The Face on the Milk Carton is one of the best books I have ever read. In the book a 15 year old girl Janie Johnson is sitting in the cafeteria goofing around with her friends when she sees a childs face on a milk carton. She reconizes the little girl as herself. The milk carton says that a 3 year old girl named Jenny Spring went missing at a shopping mall in New Jersey 12 years ago. Janie goes through a lot of detective work and she eventually gets down to the bottom of this. If you like this book then read the sequals: Whatever Happened to Janie, The Voice on the Radio, and What Janie Found.
Rating: Summary: Really good, for something that I didn't know existed... Review: Ok, you know how sometimes you walk through .... and you're looking for something good to read? And the you walk over to the Young Adults section but can't seem to find anything good there because everything there is part of a series or is something that you've already read?Maybe not. But that's the way I found this, by just looking through the book section with nothing else to read. And I had no idea it was going to be this good when I found it in the store. The basic story is that Janie Johnson sees her 3-year-old face on a milk carton, and realizes that she had been kidnapped when she was three. After finding the family, she has to decide if she wants to give up her wonderful life to live with her birth parents. Cooney manages to convey Janie's feelings perfectly, while not actually telling it in first-person, which is something that is wonderful to be able to do. Just be warned that if you check this out, it's a real page-turner. Don't start reading it at 10:00 at night because you're definitely not going to get to sleep by midnight. And do yourself a favor and buy all four books, because you're almost definitely going to want to read them after you finish the first.
Rating: Summary: Tear Jearker Review: I have read the first three books of this series and I can't even begin to imagin what it would be like to go through something like this!I really loved the characters in this book. I saw the movie before reading the novel and though there are differences both are wonderful. It's a great emotional book to read and it will make you want to turn the pages.
Rating: Summary: You must read this book!! Review: I could not stop reading this "page-turning" book! This book should have been named "Who is Janie Johnson?" In the book The Face on the Milk Carton, 15-year-old Janie Johnson is unfortunately lactose intolerant. Despite her condition, she takes a sip out of a half-pint milk carton at school. To her shock, she finds her face from when she was three years old on the carton reporting that she was kidnapped. "Kidnapped!" the thought of being kidnapped races through Janie's mind. All different kinds of questions pop into her head like "Who are my parents?" "Where do I really live?" The date saying she was born on the milk carton tells her that she is a year younger than what she believed to be her age. Everything in Janie's life is thrown upside down, leaving her with life-changing questions, but no answers. When Janie tells her believed to be parents what she finds out, they are terrified. They knew that this day would come but they never told Janie anything about what had happened to her. The book leaves you with an ending that makes you have to read the second book in the series. It seems like Janie has all these roads put in front of her and she does not know which one to run down. Her life is about to unfold into a journey she never expected to take.
