Summary: The Suspense! The Suspense!
Review: Mystery/ Romance/ Adventure 184 pages
WOW!!! I love this book! It's adventure, romance, and mystery all together. The Face on the Milk Carton
is about Janie Johnson trying to find her past.
The adventure begins when Janie picks up a milk carton with the picture of a three-year-old girl on the back who's been missing for twelve years! Janie recognized herself in the picture. She even remembers the dress the little girl is wearing. Janie can't even imagine her loving, kind parents kidnapping her! Janie and her boyfriend, Reeve tries to solve the mystery. Janie and Reeve reveal clues that seem incomplete. Janie asked her parents about it, and they only know part of the mystery. This story is a roller coaster of emotions. It is exhilarating! I recommend it to anyone who loves to read mysteries and romance!

Summary: Very suspensful
Review: Okay, I really enjoyed this book so much. But I wouldn't say it was "perfect". Some parts of the story were very hard to understand. But I will warn you before you get this book that Caroline B. Cooney uses a LOT of metaphors. Sometimes I don't even know what she's talking about. It was sort of realistic in a way, but sort of unrealistic. If I found a milk carton with my face on it, I wouldn't just sit there and wait for something to happen. I'd tell someone. She told her friends and her friends didn't believe her and she just stopped trying to make them believe it was her. I'd tell SOMEONE. Right now I'm reading the second book and it's okay so far. But I'm not saying The Face on the Milk Carton is bad. I loved the book. But some parts were hard to understand. So much metaphors! :)
But you'd probably enjoy this book!

Review: Is your face on the milk carton?

Book Title: The Face on The Milk Carton

Imagine being at school and seeing your face on a milk carton as a missing child. You panic. You don't think that is you, but you start to look closer. "Oh no!" that's a picture of me. Then you run out of the lunchroom having a sick feeling in your stomach.

Janie Johnson was eating her lunch and drinking a carton of milk She looks at the side of the milk carton and sees her own picture as a missing child. Her world then turns upside down. Janie begins to wonder if she was kidnapped as a child. Many questions run through her mind. Janie starts to search for answers about her past. Janie begins to have memories of her past about a different family, house and a different life. Janie really doesn't want to find out the truth if she was really kidnapped as a child. Janie wants to ignore the picture on the milk carton, but cant.

I loved the face on the milk carton. It was full of suspense. I really loved the book because it had some romance. I couldn't put this book down it kept me reading because I really wanted to find out if Janie had really been kidnapped. This book is a romantic mystery. If you like romantic mysteries then you will love the book the face on the milk carton.

I watched the movie before I read the book. When I was reading the book I expected parts form the movie to be in the book. I definitely would not you advise you to watch the movie before you read the book. The movie added more events then the book had in it. The book had more detail. The movie left out many important events that took place in the book.

I would recommend The Face on The Milk carton book to anybody who likes a romantic mystery. Females would probably like this book best. Females ages twelve and older. Males would probably not like this book.

You must read this book to figure out what happens to Janie. Was she really kidnapped as a child? Who are her real parents? Who are Mr. and Mrs. Johnson? You must read The Face on the milk Carton to see what happens to Janie.

Summary: The Lost Girl
Review: Description is one thing this book doesn't lack! I enjoyed this book for thousands of reasons but to spare time I'll just name a few. First of all i liked how the author brought u into the book right away. It doesn't take the 190 pages for Janie to discover her face on a milk carton. Another reason I liked this book is because of the mystery involved. You can't help but keep thinking about how or why her face was on a milk carton indicating she had been kidnapped. I also enjoyed this book a lot because it leaves you hanging... You just can't possibly think anything else could happen but then it does. This book was one of the best books I have ever read and not just because of the story line, but because of the way the author places it neatly all together so it falls perfectly into place. I can't really say there are any reasons that could have made me not like this book.

Summary: The face on the Milk Carton By Caroline B. Cooney
Review: "The Face on the Milk Carton" By Carolin B. Cooney is a wonderful, suspensful story. Jaanie, the main character is an average 15-year-old, living an average life. One day while scanning over the back of the milk carton Janie see's litttle girl whom is missing. To Janie the girl looks vaguely filmiliar. She soon relizes that, that girl is her. The life Janie knew was now gone. Her parents, friends and life all became a story. This book keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time. the only bad thing about this story is that you have to read the sequel, "What Ever Happened to Janie" - By Caroline B.Cooney to find out the ending. I highly reccomend this book to anyone who likes suspense.

Summary: Book Review of the book of The Face on The Milk Carton
Review: In the book The Face on the Milk Carton by Caroline B. Cooney. I think the book was good and had great point of views. The story is about a girl (Janie) who thinks she is kidnapped by the people she lives with. This novel has to more books to go with it so after you are done with this one you have to read the other to so you know the whole story.
Johnson finds a milk carton. She thinks it is her, Johnson does not tell her mom or dad about it. The only person she tells is her new best friend Reeve. Reeve thinks she is crazy. Johnson thinks about calling the 1-800 number that is on the milk but she does not want to get her parents into trouble by the cops and she wants to find out information about the Springs. Everyone finds out about the milk carton and the notebook Johnson was writing in.
I think this novel was good because it had different points of views on almost everyone. I think that it is cool to have an English teacher that would let Johnson change her name on all her papers she hands into him. I also thought this novel was good because it leaves you hanging. So you want to read more and more after you are done with this one. Then when you are done with the first one you can't wait to go and get the other books.
In the conclusion the novel was good and had different point of views for almost every person. The story was good because it made you want to read more and more. I think you should read it if you like mysteries.

Summary: The Face on the Milk Carton
Review: Caroline B. Cooney is a wonderful writer. Yet, The Face on the Milk Carton, was one of her best. She makes Janie, the main character, alive, like a real 15 yr old girl going through real changes. This story was filled with suspense, and has you flipping its pages constantly.
Janie Johnson is the main character in this story. Briefly, she surprises herself at lunch when she finds that she is 'the missing child' on a milk carton. Confusion runs through Janie's head as she searches for the answer to this mystery. Eventually, she finds herself questioning her family, friends, life in general and if the life she thought was hers, is real. Until, she finds the answer and has to make the biggest decision of her real or non real life.
Janie's life changed throughout the book, which is something I enjoyed. This story was very suspenseful, how it leaves you on the edge of every chapter. I can't help but continue reading, to answer the many questions I get. The book was also very well written, by the author Caroline B. Cooney. Cooney adds plenty of details, and makes sure it's filled with educational vocabulary. The story was very imaginative throughout it all. And It isn't a question if I would recommend it or not, in fact, I think everyone should get a chance to read, and learn about Janie Johnson.
Overall, this book was very suspenseful from beginning to end. You follow a girl, and how a drastic change upsets her, so she thought, 'perfect' life. It's extremely hard to set this down. But when you do set it down for the final time, all you want to do is start over again.
