Review: The book was a real eyeopener! It was wrote around what could happen today. It really made you feel like you knew Janie and felt what she was going through. I was extremely pleased with the cleanliness of the writing that I would not hesitate to let my 12 or 10 year old daughters read. I feel it would be an experience that they would enjoy. I have to say it is definitely worth checking it out at the library or buying one for yourself. It is a great book to have on hand for reading pleasure of the children. I will definitely be buy the sequel "Whatever Happened to Janie?"

Summary: Suspensful, unpredictable. A real page turner!
Review: I really enjoyed this book. It was about a 15 year old girl who finds out the people who brought her up aren't really her parents. She was kidnapped from a shopping mall when she was 3 by her alle- ged parent's daughter. Her alleged parents swallow a lie that their daghter tells them, which is that the girl is the daughters biolog- ical daughter, which is not true. The girl, Janie, sees a picture placed on a milk carton of herself by her real parents. Her life is torn between 2 families. Who to choose-her biological parents or the ones that brought her up? This is a thrilling book. I really couldn't put it down! When you finish the book you are not really done with the exciting story. There is a sequel which is equally thrilling. This is a must-read!!!

Summary: A verry good listen....
Review: An outstanding book. If you don't have the time to read the book this cassette set is just as good. Miss Jodi Benson (the voice of the little mermaid) Reads the story of a grild who find out she was kidnapped 12 years before. DO NOT let the fact that this is a book for young adults through you off. Halfway though it I forgot altoghter. It is that good..

Summary: Wow!
Review: The Face on the Milk Carton is one of the best books I've read, and I read a lot! The plot starts right away when 15 year old Janie picks up a milk carton and glances at a "missing" ad of a little girl. No big deal... until she recognizes the picture. It is herself, years before. Janie and her boyfriend, Reeve, try to get to the bottom of the complicated story. She can't imagine her kind parents being kidnappers... but who else could it be? What happened? The plot of this book was very creative and exciting, and I couldn't put it down! I recommended it to all of my friends, because it has it all - romance, mystery, drama... And they all loved it! I would recommend this book for everyone ages 12 and up! Also, if you liked this, be sure to read the sequels, Whatever Happened to Janie?, The Voice on the Radio, and What Janie Found.
