Review: If you like mystery books, than this is the book for YOU!!!!!! Well, its when a teenage girl gets a carton of milk. But she looks at the back of the milk carton to see a very familier face on the "missing children". It couldent be... but it is! It is her! Isn't that freaky? Well, I'm not going to say anymore because I might ruin it for you!

Summary: I thought this book was great! It was a real page turner.
Review: I loved the Face on the Milk Carton. I thought that the characters were so real. And although it had some strange scenes it really took you into the picture with Janie and her friends...It is a great book I would recomend to anyone.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A realistic and enjoyable book
Review: This was a book that you could stay up reading. It left a bit of a cliff-hanger but it luckily has sequels. When Janie realised that she was kidnapped it was easy to imagine yourself in her place. This was a great book that didn't require much concentration. I would recommend it.

Summary: A great mystery!!!
Review: If I could only recommend one book to someone, it would be The Face On the Milk Carton. This book is about Janie Johnson, who finds her face on the back of a milk carton. She then begins to unravel the mystery of her past, and her kidnapping. After you read this book you won't want to stop. GOOD NEWS!!!!! You can read it's sequels, Whatever Happened to Janie, and Voice on the Radio. Both of these books are just as good as the first. I strongly recommend The Face On The Milk Carton.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: I didn't like this book very much
Review: Why? Because it was confusing. I couldn't tell if she was day dreaming or not. And I couldn't tell who was telling the story. But Caroline B. Cooney did a nice job desribing things in the book.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: fantastic mystery but bad plot
Review: THE BALLAD OF JANIE

There was a girl whose name was Janie and she was just fourteen. She went to high school and had lots of friends, and she was never mean.

One day she saw her picture on the milk carton at lunch it said a girl was missing and Janie had a hunch.

Chorus: The Face On the Milk Carton , who is she? why is she missing?- - - and why does she look like me?.

She went straight home and asked her so-called parents what was going on they said nothing was wrong but she knew better and then she was gone.

So she went up to the attic and she saw this very old trunk she opened it up and looked inside and saw a lot of junk.

Chorus

But something caught her eye she thought the milk carton dress was there. In fact there was a piece of it which gave her quite a scare She went downstairs and asked again if she was really theirs. They said we're actually your grandparents So she started to wonder where

Her mother and her father were(4x)

They said your mother ran away at age 21 and then your father died. So your mother probably cried so we took you in. And that's where your story begins

So Janie started looking for her mother all around she looked here and she looked there until her mother was found There's a lot more to this story than this song could ever tell But take it from me the mystery was fantastically swell.

Chorus

If you want to know more about this book you'll have to read it yourself you could possibly find it in your class or on your Library shelf
