Summary: THIS IS THE BEST BOOK EVER!!!
Review: I first read this book about 2 years ago, and I've read it like 6 times since. Usually I wouldn't do that, but this book is so great no one could help but want to read it over and over again. Janie's life is such a terrible tradgity, and I'm glad it's only a book and not a true story. But everyone must read this!

Summary: REALLY REALLY GREAT!!!!!!
Review: The face on the milk carton is a great book. I read the whole book in one night. I really don't like to read that much, but this book got me hooked on the rest of the series. Caroline Cooney really is a great author, she makes you keep wanting to turn the page because you are not sure what will happen next. So don't hesitate read this book and you will want more of Janie Johnston.

Review: The Face on the Milk Carton By: Caroline B. Cooney

Jenny is a 13 year old active girl. On day she is at lunch in school when she notices a little girl on the milk carton. She looks harder and she sees that it is her dress when she was little. Although she doesn't remember looking like the pictures she remembers that dress. Then she starts having flashbacks of when she was little. If only she can tell her parents about what she saw that day in school. She decides that she is only going to tell her best friend who is also her neighbor Reeve, the only guy that she really trusts. As the mood intensifies Reeve tries to convince Jenny that she needs to talk to her parents about it. Jenny is afraid that her parents will think that she doesn't love them and that she wants to go and live with her other parents. After a while Jenny starts acting really mean to her a parents thinking that they stole her from her perfect life and now she doesn't want to live with them. She needs to find out answers or she is going to go insane. Will her parents tell her the truth about her other life?? Did they really kidnap her from her other family?? I think that this book is confusing , although I would still recommend this book to just about anyone. I think that if you are younger then you are going to like it more. If you are looking for a quick read then this is a good book to pick. This book is a mystery, because you are really not sure if the parents are going to tell her and if they do decide to tell her, are they going to tell her a lie to keep her with them or are they going to tell her the truth? The author of this book is Caroline Cooney. She is famous for some of her books like Drivers Ed, Face on the Milk Carton, and What Happened to Janie. She lives in a small seacoast village in Connecticut, with her 3 children. She writes mystery books and kidnapping stories. I think that she is an awsome writer. She knows how to put the story together and makes you get involved with the story. I enjoyed the way that she had me in suspense the whole time. I think that this is such a good book, a bit hard to follow, but once you get into it then you will understand. This is such a wonderful book and I think that whoever reads it is going to enjoy it as much as I did.
