Summary: Awesome!
Review: This book was a really good book. I love reading, and have read many books, but this one was different. Compelling from beginnning to end, I must say I couldn't put the book down. I recommend it to anyone 10 and older. This book is the best I have ever read!

Summary: This was an excellent book!
Review: From the moment I picked this book up, I couldn't put it down. I am usually not an avid reader, but this book caught my attention. I enjoyed the plot of the book along with the tremendous suspense. It was very gripping and addictive. Janie Johnson was a complicated character. There are many books geared toward young adults that don't show what teenagers are really like. This book went into detail, and I liked the way Janie was portrayed. The whole time she is in her fantasy turned reality world, she is also becoming a different person. She is discovering teens her own age, of the opposite sex, and getting herself into trouble. Stress and an environment that she is not used to would have definately made her do things that she wouldn't normally do. Overall, this book was one of the best I have read. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a good book.

Summary: I Couldn't Put This Book Down
Review: This was one of the first books that I have read for pleasure in quite a while. What a great one to start with because it made me want to keep on reading. I read the book in two days. Caroline Cooney does an outstanding job of keeping her readers involved. What a great book for young adults. I can't wait to read the sequel!

Summary: Intresting?
Review: I thought this book was GREAT the only problem was that they kept getting off the subject they were trying to explain, then all of a sudden 25 pages later they get back on it again! But in other words the book was a total sucsess! The ending was a little disapointing!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: They don't get much better than this!
Review: This book was fantastic! When I first started reading it I could not stop! I finished it the day I got it. I proceeded to read What happened to Janie and then the Voice on the Radio and now that an addition to the series has come out (What Janie Found) I plan on purchasing and reading that one too! These books are all fantastic and if you haven't read them yet then you should! I'm sure you'll love them!

Summary: A Great Book!
Review: The Face on the Milk Carton , by Carolyn B. Cooney, is a story about a fifteen-year-old girl named Janie Johnson. One day while Janie is drinking milk, she discovers that her picture is on a milk carton for missing persons. Janie then realizes she might have been kidnapped. This makes her confused because her parents may not be her real parents. It also makes her want to find out the truth. Janie's mission affects her relationship with her friends and her boyfriend.

My favorite scene in the book is when Janie sees herself on the milk carton. One reason I liked this scene is because this incident begins the story. Another reason that I enjoyed this scene, is because it makes Janie an exciting character. Lastly, without this scene the story would not be very interesting.

In conclusion, I recommend this book to students in seventh grade and older. The main character, Janie, faces many problems that most teens can relate to. The main problem Janie faces is unique but makes the book interesting. I give this book four and one-half stars.

Summary: Terrible for a young child
Review: I read this book, or started to, in fourth grade. I had to return it to the library after the first fifty pages, it just filled me with too much fear. Everything about the story just filled me with doubt and mistrust. It took me months to get over the fear that my parents had kidnapped me, and for several months I felt I couldn't trust them. Overall, don't read this until you're ready to accept its ideas as pure fiction.

Summary: The Face On The Milk Carton
Review: - Caroline Cooney has put together an awesome book, The Face On The Milk Carton, fit for almost all ages, filled with a spell-binding tale. I know everyone hates a book that takes forever to get to the main point or the really good parts, but Cooney goes right out from the beginning telling you what the real mystery is, and she keeps you clinging to the mystery until the last word. You can feel the roller coaster that the author takes this girl on throughout her journey to find out who she really is, who the bad guys are, and who she can trust. This book can never be just left on the shelf unread. Caroline Cooney has written it so that you almost have to read it in one sitting, and I'm positive the continuations to this book, Whatever Happened To Janie and The Voice On The Radio, will do exactly the same. This book is what some people describe as a "real page turner" and is it ever!
