Rating: Summary: An Excellent Book Review: This book is about Janie, a 15 year-old who one day sees her face in a milk carton. She doesn't want to beleive that her parents kidnapped her, but what is there other explanation? I'm not telling you the whole book, but I highly recommend you to read it because it's great and entretaining, it leaves you with an ending that forces you to need to read the sequels, which I look forward to do.
Rating: Summary: A new Life Review: The Face on the Milk Carton by: Caroline B. Clooney, is a mysterious story about 15 year old Janie Jonhson and her encounter with a milk carton. Janie has never paid close attention to the faces on her milk carton, until one day when she glanced at the face on her milk carton, she realized that the face seemd vaguely familiar to her. It was a picture of a three year old girl, dressed in a polka doted dress with two tighty scrunced pigtails that rested neatly in her hair. Janie had remembered how the collar of the dress had itched and how much she loved that dress. Janie remembered how she would wear it all the time. On the carton it wrote that Janie had been kidnapped from a shopping center in New Jersey. She was flabergasted. The little girl was her! Who were the people that was living with after all these years? She couldn't believe that her loving parents kidnapped her. Janie is desperately trying to search for answers but nothing seems to make sense. Are Mr. and Mrs. Jonhson really Janies parents, and what happened? This book was very interesting and mysterious. I recomend this book to people who enjoy books that leave you hanging. I enjoyed reading this book.
Rating: Summary: Good Review: This book is about a 15-yr-old girl named Janie, who one day while eating lunch notices herself on her friends milk carton as a missing person. Janie begins to think that her parents kidnapped her from a shopping mall in Jersey when she was 3. So the book is basically trying to find out the truth, and her real identy which affects her relationship w/ her "parents", almost boyfriend, Reeve, and her friends.
Rating: Summary: Very interesting for first book in series Review: The face on the milk carton is an extraordinary read. It explores the life of Janie Johnson who finds nothing interesting or unique about her life. Until she stumbles upon her other "identity" which then unravells into a suspenseful realistic young adult fiction novel. She finds a picture on the side of a milk carton which she recognizes as herself. This cliff-hanger left me turning the pages to find out that the sequel must be read as. It was all because of the face on the milk carton.
Rating: Summary: An Excellent Book! Review: This is a very excellent book!!! It kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I could not and would not put it down. Although it is a good book I would not let my 10 year old sisters read it due to some of its content...I would definately reccomend it for someone in the 7th grade or higher. I personally like to read suspense stories like Cooney's and M.H. Clark's. If you are that kind of person then GO FOR IT!!!
Rating: Summary: The Face on the Milk Carton Review: The book Face on the Milk Carton,0 I thought was a nice book. It talked about a little girl getting kiddnapped. What this book was mainly about was a girl named Janie Johnson getting kiddnapped by a lady named Hannah. One day Janie had recieved a milk carton from a good freind named Reeve. Janie would always carry this milk carton around because she had noticed the little girl on this milk carton. Janie would always look at the milk carton in class. One day her freinds came over and they all played a game, and Sarah Charlotte asked Janie a question. Sarah Charlotte asked Janie what does she look at when she always looks into her notebook. Janie froze because she didn't want anybody to know why she always looked into the notebook. Then her mother asked her why she looked into the notebook. Janie knew that everybody was noticing that she was keeping something from them.

Rating: Summary: The face on the milk carton Review: I think this book is the best book I've read all year. I would recommend this book to every reading and language arts teacher to read to their classes. If I was a reading and language arts teacher I would read the Face on the Milk Carton to my classes . The reason why I would read this book to my class is becouse this book is very good and interesting. I hope my teacher (Mrs.Porter) reads this book with her eighth graders next year, becouse I think they would like it as much as I do. I think the writer had a good ideas when she wrote this book. I think they should get a best book award for writing the best book that anybody could and should read.In the Face on the Milk Carton this 3 year old girl named Janie was kidnapped from a mall in New Jersey. When the book starts Janie is 15 years old and she lives in Conneticut. She starts having flash backs about her real mom and dad.You can read the book to find out the rest.
Rating: Summary: THE FACE ON THE MILK CARTON Review: I think the face on the milk carton is a good book. The reason I think it is a good book is,I like the people that are in it. I would recommend it to A 6 greader or A 7 greader.I would not recommend it to a adult because the adult would read for a about a day and stop. If I could I would read thiss book two to three more times. I hope that all seventh grade teachers are reading the book the Face on the Milk Carton with their kids. I think that all schools should read the Face on the Milk Carton with their kids that they teach! The Face on the Milk Carton is about a little girl that is kidnapped from a mall in NEW JERSEY, when she was 3. When Janie is 15 when she finds out that she is kidnapped. I think that Caroline B.Cooney should get a book award.
