Summary: I, Juan de Pareja review by Matt
Review: I really enjoyed reading this book. It was insightful, well writen and made you wonder. Through out the whole the book I kept wondering what was going to happen. Although some things could have been better. For instance at parts the speed of the book was slow. Otherwise it was fun to read. I highly recomend this book.

Summary: A True Soul
Review: I really enjoyed reading this book. It was very detailed and each chapter kept my interest. I would suggest this book to other students. It shows the reader that you should give each person a chance no matter who they are or what background they come from.

Summary: Slow, but interesting
Review: I recently read the novel named "I, Juan de Pareja" and found it to be very, very slow but interesting. This might seem like a contradiction, but there was no real action in the book and it also provoked a lot of thought in my mind. However, it seemed like the thought lingered in my mind for a fleeting moment and then went down slowly along with all the other words in the book. I do recommend this book who wants to sit down and read a long, slow book but not to someone who wants to be thrilled and excitied.

Summary: I was very pleased.
Review: I think it was a very good book. The author did a good job telling the story from Juan's point of view without making it a boring book. She tells the story truthfully and does a very good job portraying Diego de Valazquez. She describes the characters and the setting in great detail but keeps the reader's attention. She did a very nice job describing Juan's feelings and his relation to the other humans around him. I think she could have made the book a little shorter by using less detail. The book got a little boring and tedious by the end. Overall I was very pleased and thought it was a good book.

Review: I thought that this book was very descriptive, and interesting. Elizabeth Barton De Trevino had a unique style, and plenty of characters. She builds the plot nicely throughout the book. Any reader would enjoy this book.

Summary: It was a great book!
Review: I, Juan De Pareja is a moving story of a slave's life with his first mistress and then being the slave of the famous painter Juan Velaquez. I loved this book from the first indent to the last period

Summary: I, Juan de Pareja
Review: I, Juan de Pareja is a pretty good book. The characters are relatively well developed, the story is interesting, and the author's style makes it seem like it is actually Juan writting the book. So, if you enjoy reading about what life's like for a slave during the age of explorers, read this book.

Summary: Sammy's review
Review: I, Juan de Pareja was a pretty good book, but I think that it could've been better if they had gotten rid of some of the charactures. I don' think that they needed to detail everyone that Juan had met. If I had wrote it I think that I would've focused on more of the events. Of course you need charactures to tell about the events but you don't need all of the small characters to explain the whole story.
