Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A woderfully writtin story. Very touching. Review: I adored this book. I am 15 years old and about to go on summer break, not to mention I'm being forced to get a job. I just happened to randomly pick this book out of the library one day while waiting for a computer. When I sat down to read it I only planned on reading it for a few min. but I found I couldn't put it down. I suggest this book to all teens and pre-teens. The only sad part - I don't have a Norman of my own.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: A Good Summer Story Review: "Keeping the Moon" is a great novel by a great author. Our story begins with Colie Sparks, sent off to stay with her ~eccentric~ Aunt while her fitness queen mother tours Europe. Colie expects to have a boring summer. Her Aunt Mira IS eccentric, and Norman (a hippy who live downstairs) seems just plain weird to Colie. But things start to change when Colie goes for a walk down to the local diner, appropriatly named "Last Chance"; and we learn once again that first impressions can be premature assumptions. This is a wonderful book well worth the time and money. I don't consider "Keeping the Moon" as "light hearted" as one reviewer said; but it's not a stock serious book, either. I highly reccomend this book, along with anything else by Sara Dessen.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: An awesome book! Review: This book was absolutly amazing. It made me really think about myself and self-confidence. I think any teenager could relate to this book and should read it. The main character is so realistic and Sarah Dessen has really stayed true to her teenaged readers. A great book.

Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: A real heart warmer Review: Colie, was ready to escape from the "fat years", or life on the road, living off fast food, moving place to place, when her mom finally became famous for her motivational weight loss programs. When Colie finally settled in, her normal life was quite a joke, she was made fun of for first being fat, and then for being thin. Her lip ring and dyed hair showed people a look they wanted to stay away from. Soon enough, Colie's mother tours Europe for her program, leaving Colie to stay with her strange Aunt Mira in Colby, North Carolina. She is looking forward to a miserable summer, having no friends, she wasn't expecting to find any in Colby. Everything changes when Colie meets Isabell, and Morgan, who help her find her true idenity. This book is well written, and full of suprises that keep you interested. Its a wonderful book!
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: wonderfully written Review: This book was the best ever!!! The fun never stops for Colie, Isabel and Morgan. You won't put this book down until you've finished. Every girl or boy will love this book. Trust me!!!
Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: Too uninteresting for me Review: Keeping the Moon, by Sarah Dessen, is a realistic book, about a young girl who is sent away to her Aunt Mira's house down the shore. Leading a life of luxury, she rarely remembered her aunt from way back in the "fat years." Her name is Colie Sparks, daughter of the worldwide phenomenon Kiki Sparks. As a child she rode around from town to town overweight, never really being loved by anyone besides her mother, but now things have changed. Her and her mother stopped moving when an accident happened on the road. Along with changing their plans, it changed their lives. Now, Sarah is going back to her roots, to see what will come of this summer. Keeping the Moon, was a very interesting and captivating book. It always left you wanting to find out what was going to happen next. In addition to being an interesting book, it was very realistic. This book wasn't like most other fictional novels. It wasn't about aliens landing on Earth, or Armageddon. It was about a simple young girl. The one flaw was that the book didn't have a problem or a solution. Unlike most other stories, this just told about her summer. Otherwise I would recommend this book to children who find life interesting.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: The Best Summer Book Ever!! Review: This was such a great book. It's the kind of book you should read at the beach because that's where it takes place. It is a light-hearted novel about Colie Sparks, a 15 year old girl who is sent to Colby, NC to stay with her eccentric Aunt Mira while her mother tours Europe. She meets Morgan and Isabel, two waitresses at the Last Chance Bar and Grill who encourage her to get a job there. The summer that she thought would be the worst ever turns out to be the opposite. This is my FAVORITE book!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Best book I've ever read Review: I just finished Keeping The Moon and loved it! I finished it in less than two days! I couldn't stop reading it. I suggest this book to everyone. It was very inspiring to me and helped me become more open with myself. I thought that Colie was sort of like me except that I don't get teased and I have a lot of friends... but for some reason she reminds me of myself. Read this book and i think you will have a new outlook on life... unless you are the person that is teasing the people.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Fabulous!! Meaningful book! Review: This book is a real page-turner! It's is a fun read, yet it envolves lots of life lessons into it. You really feel like you have gotton something out of this book when you finish it. The characters are all very unique, and the plot is VERY good and never boring. I really recommend this book!
