Review: Keeping the Moon is one of my favorite books. Sarah Dessen is an amazing author, and as cliche as it sounds, I want to be as good as her one day.

Summary: What is it about this book that I like
Review: I really enjoyed this book. I just grabbed it of the shelf in our library in our High School. I began to read it and I got hooked on it. I never enjoyed reading but then I read this book. I got yelled at alot in class because I just wanted to keep reading I didn't want to stop. This book had a real good meaning. It taught me alot. I can't wait to read more from Sarah Dessen.

Rating: 5 stars

Summary: welcome to the world, Colie
Review: 15 year old Colie is not looking forward to staying with her aunt while her mother takes her fitness program and enthusiasm to Europe.

Colie and her mother were overweight, and while they both lost the weight, Colie never gained the self confidence that her mother did. She still sees herself in a negative light and has built up walls of defences, both physically (dyed black hair and a lip ring) and emotionally.

It is a summer unlike any other for Colie. Here in this town they don't know that she was overweight, they don't know that she hasn't many friends, and without this baggage she begins to see herself in a different light, reflected in the people around her.

Sure there are hiccups along the way, but ultimately Colie begins to see that she is a worthwhile and normal person, she learns to see people as who they are, not what they are.

Sarah Dessen has done a good job of capturing the angst of a teenager who doesn't know her place in the scheme of things and learns to accept and even like herself, without getting too mushy. Am looking forward to reading more from this author.

Summary: Another Awesome Book by Dessen!!!!!!
Review: I just finished reading this book and I loved it!! I finished reading it in less than a day. This book is one of the best books that I have ever read and I really enjoy reading. I really liked it because, for one, I never knew what was going to happen next. One minute it's funny and the next it's sad. I would definitly recomend this book to everyone who loves a good book!

Summary: Loved It!!!
Review: This book certainly wasn't the best book, but I loved it! I can totally relate to the main character. My favorite character, though, is Isabel. She's like this really cool older sister to me that once I finished reading the book, I missed her already. I love the message that Dessen is trying to tell her readers; that it is okay to be different.

Summary: A Cool Book that Everyone Should Read
Review: The book "Keeping the Moon" by Sarah Dessen was the first book I read by the author. After I read this book, I just had to get the other books by her because I loved this one so much. This is what the book is basiclly about....

Colie Sparks is the daughter of famous exercise guru, Kiki Sparks. When her mom is set to go on a tour of Europe, Colie goes to her Aunt Mira's for the summer. When getting there, after one day she dosen't think she will be able to survive the summer ahead of her. However, a run-in with the 2 girls working at the Last Chance Bar & Grill changes her whole summer. Suddenly, Colie finds herself with two great friends and a whole new outlook on life. Not being the most popular person in the world, Colie discovers, with the help of Isabel and Morgan, that she really has the confidence to be who she wants to be, and that she's had it all along.

Go pick up this book and all of Sarah Dessen's other books. You won't be dissapointed!

Summary: This was a really really good book!!!
Review: Dessen did it, once again. The characters in this book are so well developed and so interesting, that alone would've gotten me to read the book. On top of that, the plot and the sub-plots are genius!!! I love the story, and I loved Norman and his sunglasses. This was such a good book, and I would encourage anyone to read it.

Summary: Keeping the Moon
Review: I loved this book! I recommend this book to anyone who loves to read. Keeping the Moon really makes you think about life. I enjoyed reading about Colie and her fitness trainer mom,Kiki Sparks.I also like reading about her Aunt Mira and her new friends that she made. They are Isabel, Morgan, and Norman. The characters seem so real. I think that teeneagers especially would like it because it has to do with a teenage girl and her life at school, and with other people. This book tells you all the hard times that she went through and how she kept going even though she didn't think she could. I'm sure that most people can relate to this book in a certain way. I really liked this book and I'd definitely read it again!
