Summary: one of the best written charmed books
Review: 3 days before halloween, a young witch casts a spell to bring back her dead fiance. the spell goes horribly wrong. she brings back the wraith of a powerful demon who will stop at nothing to get his revenge. the charmed ones meet the young lady and are determined to help, but even with the help of a whitelighter and an ex-demon, this villian may be too powerful for them to overcome.

this book was just awesome. it gave leo and cole nice roles in the book and even touched on the subject of prue. since i was devastated when shannen doherty left the show 2 years ago, i think it is nice when a book touches on the sister who died and stop acting like she is gone forever. i know the tv show has to but as a writer of novels, one can go places the tv show cannot.

Summary: Mysteries of the De Vermis brothers
Review: A woman is being haunted by the book De Vermis Mysteriis (Mysteries of the Worm). She has work a spell from it to restore her lost fiancé, but the book had other ideas. Now something is destroying the gates between the worlds of the living and the dead.

The Charmed Ones and their guys must figure out what is happening, who is doing it, and why. As each gate is destroyed, the local building is melted. This includes Piper's club P3. If enough gates are destroyed, the magic wall between the worlds will fail and the world will end.

It all comes down to the book. The real De Vermis Mysteriis is a creation of Robert Bloch (author of Psycho). It is linked to the Cthulhu Mythos of H. P. Lovecraft. In this book, however, all has been changed. It was written by on of the De Vermis twins as a collection of good magic. But then it got corrupted. This would have worked better for me if the authors had not used a known book with a definite history. All they would have had to do was make up a title.

I found very little suspense in the plot and the resolution was very contrived (even for Charmed). I was almost rooting for the sisters to fail so that the world would end. Probably the worst book in the series.

Summary: Enchanting
Review: As Halloween rolls around again, Paige is very much into the holiday spirit. Dressing up as what people think a witch looks like, and handing out candy. But this year, Samhain, a Wiccan celebration, brings along destruction of the city of San Francisco. Buildings throughout San Francisco are actually melting, and, upon further investigation, the Charmed Ones soon figure out that the buildings being melted are actually dimensional portals, that someone is trying to open up. Paige, Piper, and Phoebe now have to secure these barriers, in order to save the world as we know it. But there's a problem, the demon working against them isn't actually a demon. It's a wraith, which was the product of a grief-stricken young witch, looking to bring her dead fiance back from the dead.

This is the first CHARMED book in which I have read, and I am not at all disappointed. The books cover more than the TV show, which is a nice addition, and Weiss and Wilson wrote in such a believable way, that you actually feel like you're there with the Charmed Ones. A great book for teens, or fans of CHARMED, especially around All Hallows' Eve, a.k.a. Halloween.

Summary: Author of this Charmed novel
Review: First off, thank you for the inspiring reviews..I am one of the authors of this novel, but the publishing company spelt my first name wrong! How funny is that. I co-wrote this book with a talented and experienced friend of mine, and I was only 16 years old when we began the project. (I am now 19). Anyways, I just wanted to respond to all of the readers that wrote the reviews and thank them. I would love to get in contact. My email is queansidhee@yahoo.com...thanks

Summary: Okay read.
Review: I have been faithfully reading all the Charmed books as I love the TV series.

This book was okay, but disappointing compared to other book which have been written.

Based during Halloween, it centres on CK and the power which she has unleased after casting a spell to bring back the love of her life who died but by doing so it could essentially mean that the realms of dead and the un-dead could collaspe.

The story idea was good, but I wasn't drawn into the storyline which seemed boring and drawn-out. I didn't feel a connection to the characters (not even the sisters who seemed like words on a page, instead of being able to picture it in your mind) and I could wait to reach the end of the book so it was over.

Overall I wouldn't recommend it unless perhaps it is Halloween and there is nothing else for you to read or if you are an avid Charmed fan.

Summary: One of the best Charmed Books!
Review: I've read a lot, if not all of the Charmed novels, and some really feel like a episode of the show. This is one of them, it has the feel of the show, and the sisters. It also has a "Halloween feel" to it since it starts off around that day. So reading it in October before Halloween could really be fun.
