Summary: Believeable, touching, and great all around.
Review: When I first picked up this book, it was for no other reason that I thought the cover looked interesting. Up until that time, I had never really enjoyed reading. But when I opened the cover and entered this other world, I couldn't put it down.

Meet Michael - An average 17 year old. He has a girlfriend, a best buddy, he popular and he thinks his life is near perfection when his grandfather gives him his own rifle for his birthday. Eager to show off to his friends at his party, he fires a shot into the air.

A mile across town, a man shingles his roof in the sun. His daughter Jenna steps from the house to tell her father that lunch is ready. The man prepares to stop shingling when he suddenly tumbles from the roof onto the ground, dead. A bullet lodged in his head. A stray bullet from a rifle . . .

In this book you will follow Michael and Jenna in alternating points-of-view as they experience the flood of emotions that come from this accident. The two are persued by guilt, loss, grief and overwhelming fears that neither believe they can control.

Great read. I found it completely believable and I spent hours reading it, not wanting to stop. I would recommend it to young adults. Probably ages 13-17. I have found this book to be other people's gateway into reading so I strongly recommend it to anyone.

Summary: A Review on SWALLOWING STONES
Review: You always hear about homocides, right? A bullet hits a man and kills him. Was the bullet aimed for him, or was it a coincidence? In the book Swalowing Stones, you will read about a kid who gets a gun for his birthday, which happens to be the Fourth of July, and thinks that he is innocently trying out his new gun. In the afternoon, on every radio station, you hear of a man who gets shot in the head by a bullet. Could this possibly be the bullet that the kid shot so innocently on his birthday? What are the chances of this happening? This story is very good, and uses a lot of different emotions from both the kid who shot the gun, and the daughter of the victim. This story has a long climax, and is very suspensful. Through this book, you will learn what it is like to lose a loved one, and what its like to feel the most heart-wrenching guilt in the world. This story will be liked by all and will make you think. If you want a great book to read, Swallowing Stones is definitely it.
