Nancy Farmer Rating 4 out of 5 Imagine living in a mansion from the future with your brother and sister and all robot maids and dogs , if the mansion is heavily secured with machines even machine guns are there. If you want to know my opinion of the book I think it was the book you would like to read if you were a lonely child or adult because it gives the touching emotion of a loving family . Also a happy ending of a complete reunited family.

Summary: The Ear, the Eye, and the Arm
Review: The book had an attraction like no other. The way the author would explain every scene in detail was as if you were standing right there and that you were a part of that one scene. Some books that you read are just flat out boring and you just don't want to finish it, but this book is not like the rest of the books. You can sit there for hours reading the book and even for one second want to put it down. So if I were you reading this advertisement right now I would got to the book store or even to the library and check out this book and start flipping through those pages.

Summary: A great adventure with suspense, comedy, and tradegy
Review: Imagine if you were in the military, no slouching or no untucked shirts. This is the life Tendai, Kuda, and Rita had to live. Think if you could not leave your house, only living with robot maids and butlers, and couldn't use the telephone, or the holophone in that case. That would be quite boring. They ran away from home and never wanted to come back. Three detectives, Ear, Eye, and Arm are Greneral Matsika's only hope to get his children back. I thought this was a great book with a lot of suspense, comedy, and tradegy. What will happen to the children, will the detectives find the children? Well If you want to answer these questions, read the thrilling book to find out

Review: I think this book was very intresting and how it took place in the future. I think that if you read this book you will be very excited and very intresting. One of the parts that I liked was that the Masks had a special spirit withing their mask that they were. I alos liked how in the building how fast the elevator went and how it went around to other places to. Why don't you try and find the secret identities of the Godwannans.

Review: Imagine living in a house with a holophone. In a house that has automatic machine dogs and robotic maids. In a house where a person goes and makes praises for you every morning. That is how Tendai lives in the good novel The Ear the Eye the Arm. He is never taken out of his house except in heavily fortified areas. His father is the Great General Matsika. Tendai, Rita, and Kuda (TendaiÕs brother and sister) want an adventure. They set off on a bus. They get kidnapped and are forced to work for the She Elephant. They escape and go to a town named Resthaven. In this town there is no technology, just nature. Tendai gets a high ranking from the elders, but Rita gets a bad ranking. She gets tortured and works all day. Kuda lives with the younger boys. Then, oh, I canÕt spoil the ending for you can I? If you want to know the ending you should read the book. I thought it was a pretty good book with very good imagination. It uses many different characters along the story. All the characters in the book are needed. If you want a long, good book this one is for you.

Summary: The Best Book I've Ever Read
Review: This is the best book I have ever read. It is about General Mastika's children- Tendai, Rita, and Kuda- going on an adventure of their lives. They get captured by the She Elephant and become slaves. Then the run away to a village and are accused of being witches. They finally end up at the Mellower's Mother's house and will only be returned for money. I reccomend this book to anyone who likes suspense and action.

Summary: A MUST READ BOOK!
Review: This is a terrific book. It is set in the future in Africa. Tendai, Rita, and Kuda who are the sons and daughter of Amadeus Matsika, the country's Cheif of Security. Matsika has wiped out almost all of the gangs except one, the Masks. After being kidnapped by the She Elephant, Tendai, Rita, and Kuda have to find a way home or they might fall victim to a terrible fate. They finally escape with the help of Trashman, a man in his twenties with the mind of a small child. They are taken to a place called Resthaven. Resthaven is like a small country, but it is set in the past. They live in the ways of the ancestors. After the children are found missing, Matsika's wife hires three private eyes, literally. These three have special powers. One has super strong eyes, another super strong ears, and finally super long limbs. As this story unfolds, see how the tale of Tendai, Rita, and Kuda changes your perspective on life.

Summary: A good book...
Review: It was a good book, yet i felt that it could have been better and I have to admit I have read better. But this book I have to admit was extremely good for a science fiction novel. The things that it talked about weren't that hard to imagin and it was highly enjoyable and I have to admit it would be a great prize on your bookshelf.

Summary: This book had great ideas of adventure in the future.
Review: I liked how this book had inventions and animals like the blue monkey that would only be developed far off into the future. I liked the ideas of the special abilities that the detectives Ear, Eye, and Arm had and how they used them to help find the children. I thought it was a little annoying how the children kept going different places instead of going straight home.

Review: I see people giving The Ear the Eye and the Arm 5 stars. Well maybe your just doing it so it dosent look like a waste that you bought it, even though you know it was. The book is terrible. Little kids do not even enjoy it. Nancy Farmer needs to work on her skills.
