Rating: Summary: this book is creepy and good Review: (...)remember some books ago when teddy said his love for heaven, will she find out about it and then what will happen (he did leave her to fend for herself at tijana) hey, at least now she has sara to help her. she really shouldn't of slept wit hiro on the sub tho, that shoulda happened in the hotel room, then they wouldn't of had that fight. i think hiro turned to (or at least went back to japan) b/c in the book of the flame heaven left him... wonder what will happen next, i really want to know
Rating: Summary: this was so sad Review: hmm. i thought this book was awsome. i was so happy that hero and heaven were togeather , but kinda. then that melissa girl had to shove her tounge down his throat. but hey, it was funny. well then i was soo happy that heavam and hero did *it* b/c he loved her and she really loved him even tho she didnt know at the time, he wanted to pretect her and he was never going to kill her. i think sara (her real mommy!)was right about it. he said he was going to do it b/c he wanted tp get her out of there. but any how, she just had mixxed fealings when she was pushing him away!!! all the lies around her i wouldnt be able to take eather, but i wouldve stayed with him, b/c she loved him befor she hered all his past. but she knew how he was so she shouldnt have thought diffrently about it. i was BALLING MY EYES OUT when the bad ppl killed hiro.. u no like :: NO HERO DONT DIE DONT DIE NOOO! mixed with a WHAT (...) WERE YOU THINKING, WERE YOU REALLY GONNA KILL HER!?!? but then i thought about it and he is too pure of heart for heavan to kill her. thats y he committed that suicide thing and let them kill him. he loved her, and thats all she shouldve belived. but im happy that heavan found her mom. by the way, am i the only one who sees that she *might* have a thing for teddy? i think she does!!! soo when is the next book coming out? this one better not be the end book or i will die. it just stops at, so r u gettin in? that sux!
Rating: Summary: Heaven is insane! Review: how can she sleep with the enemy... well i guess because her haragei wasnt well She finally meets her birth mother and it turns out konishi is her real birth father... but the book doesn't seem to have a good end i wonder is this the last book in the series. there are still lotz of things unanswered
Rating: Summary: HIRO GONE? Review: I just can't believe it. Please tell me Hiro isn't dead yet. Sensei can't die. He might have been flawed but he just can't die! Everything he did he did out of love for Heaven. She's still young and idealistic. She has to realize that you can't always do things the way you wanna do them. The world is not black and white. It's gray. To survive, you have to bend the rules a little and go with the flow. Hiro might have been trapped. Yet, he still managed to get Heaven to America. He did not compromise her. He played by his elders' rules so Heaven could escape. But did he have to die in the process? Hiro changed Heaven. He was the one who created Samurai Girl. Gosh! They were all just victims of this duty to your family thing.
The Teddy-Heaven match seems a bit off now. He might seem a bit more attractive and more human now but still? Who wants to run around with a gangsta, complete with Colombian druggie friends? Hiro's duty to his family and yakuza ties is more understandable than gunrunning and drug deals. Oh well, I might be wrong. Teddy might still turn out to be better that he is now.
But did Hiro have to die?
Rating: Summary: The Book of the Heart Review: In the Book of the Heart, Heaven is back in Japan. She feels protected and pampered once again. But maybe she's too protected. As she fights for independance and her life, she finds out the secrets to her past. Secrets that should of stayed hidden. Secrets about her family. Secrets that will change her world forever.
Rating: Summary: The Book of the Heart Review: It seems like some else wrote this book, not Carrie Asai. It was also very rushed and didn't seem well-formulated. It pretty much betrays every character except Heaven. I was VERY disapointed. Not nearly as good as any of the first five.
Rating: Summary: Book of Surprises Review: The only reason i gave this book 4 stars was because heaven acted really stupid at most parts of the book to the point that she even ticked me off! But hey, im not going to totally hate her- she is the main character after all... anyways, if you've been reading the series continue it! It's really good and isn't one of those books in a series you can just "skip" because you think it won't matter... ALOT happens to heaven in this book, that is crucial to the story. I mean there's a lot i didn't expect to happen (hiro) and something just told me about two books ago that the whole teddy thing would happen... don't know what i'm talking about? READ IT! ^^; it's loads of fun... but when is the next book coming out? anyone know??? I really want to find out what happens but so far i haven't seen anything to show me that a new one is coming out some time... Another one better because i can't stay on that cliffhanger for the rest of my life!!! (...)
Rating: Summary: What? Review: This series is usually great. It is filled with action, adventure, love and all that other good stuff but for this book and the end of the last book I believe my title is appropriate. This book does not exactly deviate from the story line but it does make the characters seem totally different. I mean Hiro was like a stranger in this book. His personality totally changed and Heaven seemed weird too. The only semi-good part of this book is the very end when Heaven finds something out. Other than that though, this book left me wondering if Carrie Asai wrote it. Maybe her publishing company took away her creative freedom or something, I don't know. But this book was a total dissapointment and if she keeps writing like this, I know I won't be purchasing any more of her books.
