Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Wow! This was some Kiss/Curse Review: "KISS OF DARKNESS" I just finished reading this book... I think it's the second one in the series. The book didn't take long to read but it did hold my attention the whole time. I felt the pain and the passion throughout the story. I think it's a great piece of reading material. I know the Charmed books are usually listed in the teenager section but I think it's a good story for any age.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: This Book Was Good Review: Although this book was not my favorite in the series, I enjoyed because it showed a different side to Prue Halliwell. On New Year's Eve, Prue is kissed by a mystery man when the lights go out. Prue, like her sister Piper and Phoebe, had discovered they were witches, the Charmed Ones, earlier that year. After Prue is kissed she feels the need to kiss every man at the party... and does just that. She doesn't think that anythings wrong; she figures she's doing it just to find the man who kissed her so passionately. But when she goes to the New Years Party at the restaurant Quake, where Piper works, she continues her search, thinking he might have followed her here. But the men she kisses fall ill shortly after and while kissing all the men (even more after Quake, like a teenage skateboarder and a pimply mailman) she sees what must be death in their face. This is when she realizes something MUST be wrong...
Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: Typical "Charmed" Review: As I stated in the title, this short book is reminiscent of a typical episode of "Charmed"... The story, while somewhat unique, is poorly written with stiff, stale characters and a predictable plot. There are several grammar and spelling mistakes, and the main villain is only introduced in the last 40 pages of the book. Meanwhile we have to read page after page of achingly boring drivel trying to pass off as mystery. And, as always in "Charmed", he's revealed by a casual flip through the sisters' Book of Shadows -- their bible of all things supernatural. All in all, a 60% seems like a fair grade. The upcoming "Crimson Spell" doesn't look much better either.

After that she feels driven to kiss every guy she comes across, desperately trying to find the mysterious man who had kissed her with such passion. At first Phoebe and Piper aren't sure what to think about Prue's new lifestyle; even Prue doesn't understand what's happening to her, but for some odd reason she can't force herself to stop. It's like she needs to kiss men to keep her alive, but with every kiss she becomes weaker. It doesn't take Piper and Phoebe long to figure out that a warlock is behind Prue's strange behavior. But what kind of warlock would be obsessed with kissing? And why? Could it be someone they knew? Or was it someone they'd never met before? Prue is fading fast, proving that time is definitely not on their side. They have to save her before it's too late, but can they rescue her from the darkness that is threatening to surround her with only the Power of Two? I absolutely loved this book! It's fast paced, has plenty of plot twists, and several interesting characters. While reading this book you'll find yourself trying to figure out who Prue's mysterious midnight phantom is. This Charmed book is definitely a keeper, and I can see myself reading it over and over again.

Rating: ![2 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-2-0.gif) Summary: Honestly? Review: I do love the TV show "Charmed" but this book is kind of boring. I've only read half of the book so far, but it's kind of one of those books where it's so boring that you skip whole paragraphs of the book because it's so unentertaining. The summary of the book is incorrect, and unuseful. Plus the attitude of the charcacters is different then the show, and Phoebe seems a little uptight, when she's the supposed to be the carefree youngest Charmed One. They use the same words to describe things repeatedly and some of the things Phoebe, Piper, and Prue say don't go along with there characters on the TV show or on the book...personally, I think the book is alot to be desired
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Very Charming.... Review: I loved this book, I don't think I have even read a book this fast before. I just could not put I down and finished it the same day I got it... The only thing I found to be courius was the fact that the book didn't mention Andy or Leo when they should have been there in that timeframe... It was as if they had never excisted... But other than that it was a great book. Great Prue story, and a wonderful B-story about Piper... If you are a fan of the show, read this book ! ! !
