Summary: The Daughters of the Moon Series
Review: I love these series! They have everything a book needs! My favorite is Vanessa after the 7th book (before it was Serena)(I can't stand Tiana!) Anyways the series is about Vanessa (has the power of invisibility), Catty (can go back in time), Serena (can read minds), Jimena (has preminitions), and Tiana (telekenetic powers). These girls are daughters of Selene, they fight the Atrox an ancient evil, and its Followers. They still have their normal teenage problems (boyfriends, parents, friends, enemies, etc.)to add to battling the Atrox. These are my FAVORITE BOOKS! They really capture you. Lynne Ewing is very discriptive, you can totally see what is happening while you are reading. I have read all the books including Party Girl (another book by Lynne Ewing). I just wish Ms. Ewing wouldn't have to make me wait for the next books to come out. Every week I am constantly checking if the next one is out already. Number 9 ending is so horrible. I hope Jimena remembers at least parts of when she was a DOTM or the others fill her in. Jimena is one of the best characters, Tiana should've forgotten, not Jimena. I started reading the books when I was 11, my friend introduced me to tham during a book report. I read number 4,5,6, and 7 all in 1 night! They have been my favorite books since then. Read the Daughters Of the Moon series, you'll love them!

Summary: Television Series
Review: I love this series. It is the most interesting read I have ever encountered. I didn't like reading at all, until I found this series. I love it! I buy them and I can't put them down. It has taken me no longer than 3 days on each book. They are so intriguing. I really think Lynne Ewing should consider making them into a Television series or movies. But as we have seen with Harry Potter, movies can't include every detail. And to put these stories on to the screen and not include every detail would ruin it for everyone. To exclude anything would take away from what she has created.

To Lynne: You are a terrific writer. Your stories feel so real to many of us. Thank you for the great andventures you have given me. I have loved everyone of them. I know the story can't go on forever, but I know it is all worth my while. Thank You!!

Summary: The Choice
Review: I really don't know what to say about this book. First off I must say that contrary to popular beliefe Lynne Ewing CAN NOT write. It is as if she only has a hundred or so words in her vocabulary aside from prepositions (mostly words like sensual, quivering etc.) This is most definetely a chick book. One can tell not only by the in depth romance but by the tiresome description of every characters apparell. One would laugh at something of that sort in a book for men: Odysseus marched into battle sporting Ithikan arrmorment, a few strands of stray hair fell in his face giving him a rugged senual look. This is basically the format of all the daughter of the moon books and it work just as well as it would in the Odyssey which is not at all. The plot is for the most part predictable it does, however, have some originality in it and a few surpises. Yet if one began to poke wholes in the plot one would be felt with something that looks as if it used to resemble swiss cheese. This book like the other daughters of the moon books is poorly written, ... so naturally it is one of the books in my favorite series. Why you ask do I love these books? I honestly can't say. Perhaps it is because I am after all a teenage girl. Whatever the reson I found this book interesting and was unable to put it down. I suppose Lynne Ewing knows one thing and that is her audience.

Summary: The Choice: What a Choice it was!
Review: It was an amazing story with an amazing ending. I can't believe....well I don't want to ruin it but now I understand that there are really only supposed to be 4 daughters and not Five! I still can't believe who betrayed them all...I really can't!

Anyway Read it and you'll see what i mean.

Summary: Daughters of the Moon - 'The choice'
Review: Jimena and her best friends Serena, Catty, Tianna, and Vanessa are at a rock concert, having a blast, when suddenly the Atrox itself appears. Which has never happened before. Usually the evil being sends others in its place.

Suddenly Jimena's friends are sucked into the dark cloud, disappearing without a trace. Catty, before she can be taken in as well, takes Jimena back into the past to try and have her change the future. But Catty made a mistake in her panic. She accidentally drops her friend right into enemy territory--Wilshire Blvd. Jimena soon is confronted by her old rival, Payasa, one chola with an attitude.

Then, things go from bad to worse. Jimena is sent to juvenile detention camp after she is wrongly accused and arrested for an esctasy bust. How can she help her friends when she's in jail?!

This book was incredible. I stayed up until around 2 in the morning finishing it. But.. I hope the series isn't coming to an end just yet!!! The next book is 'The talisman', which is taken from Maggie's (the Daughters' mentor and guide) view. 'What!? No Catty?' I thought. Well, Catty fans, there is quite a bit of her in this installment, though it's from Jimena's point of view, so don't worry.

Summary: Jimena Castillo, chioce maker
Review: Jimena is my favorite daugther because is doesn't just care about herself, she care more about the other daughters and collin. I wish I could rewrite the ending but maybe she will become something better than a daughter of the moon! We will have to wait and see!

Summary: IT WAS WICKED AWESOME!!!!
Review: Jimena was great in this book how she stood up for her self, and faced her worse fears. She came across alot of obsticles she had to over come. She was haunted by old mistakes, and had a love to deal with. It was really cool how she protected her friends, and old enemies. I learned a lot from her. I loved this book, but when I got to the ending I was a little upset, and I recommend it to any Daughters of the Moon fan because in my opinoin it was the best of the series so far...
