Summary: Boy Meets Boy
Review: This book is truly beautiful. Anyone can relate to the characters in some sense. Paul and Noah could be any couple. The way Paul proves his love and his outlook on life are priceless and enjoyable. Great book for anyone to read to enjoy the relationships between people.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Portrayal of a Lie
Review: This book is very offensive and misleading. The Sodomite life style is not fun and games. It is destructive, and it is a lie to portray it as normal and fun. What a travestiy to encourage our teens to enter into this life style.

Note: This book is not worthy of even a single star but unfortunately, you can not give the deserved negative rating.

Summary: A Book Worth Staying Up Late to Finish...
Review: This book will steal your heart. Paul, the central character, lives in a town that represents the world as it should be, and as we all wish it could be. Infinite Darlene is the prom queen and the high school quarterback; the Boy Scouts became the Joy Scouts once the Boy Scouts rejected homosexuals; and Paul has known he was gay since kindergarten, when his teacher wrote in his report card that "Paul is definitely gay." This is a charming, wonderful, sweet, enchanting book. You'll root for Paul and Noah the whole time. I couldn't put this book down.

Summary: good but not genius
Review: This is a thoroughly enjoyable, well-written book. However, it is not the work of genius that other reviewers seem to think it is. It is, in essence, an example of light, almost series romance fiction with gay characters. Which is, perhaps, groundbreaking in its way, but great literature it isn't.

Summary: LGBT Teen Fiction Keeps Getting Better
Review: Working for an LGBT youth group, I've read 'em all! And up until recently LGBT teen fiction was filled with drugs, suicide, and despair. Thank goodness there are now authors out there who know that today's youth aren't all suffering like they did. Geography Club was the first book that was well written to break this mold, but now there's Boy Meets Boy. I liken BMB to a teen's version of the hit movie, Big Eden, where we all know its not real, but its nice to escape to another world. In Levithan's world being gay is just another part of who we are, and the only thing unusual about the trans football star is that she fills the school halls with drama...not so unusual on second thought.

This book is hard to put down, and while there aren't any big surprises, its well written and a nice story. The characters weren't deep but were certainly deep enough to make you care about them, and yes I even cried once or twice. Fun cover, fun story, fun read.

Summary: WONDERFUL
Review: Yesterday walking through Barnes and Noble I came across this book while wondering through the endless treasures all book stores contain. I was intrigued by the little I read standing there. I bought it and couldn't put it down. Each time I put it down and couldn't help but think about the story. Levithan creates characters of hope and give readers a refreshing look into being a teen. Teen or not, this book is wonderful as it leaves any reader in ecstasy. Great quick read!

Summary: The Real Deal
Review: Yup, for once the hype is real. Charming, wise, funny--you've heard it all before...but this time it's true. It's official: we're in the middle of a gay teen lit renaissance! Don't miss out.
