Rating: Summary: Reasons to read Silent to the Bone Review: This is a wonderful book. When I started reading it I couldn't put it down. The plot is well done and everything is organized in a way that isn't all that noticeable at first. The characters are well-developed and the style of the writing makes you feel as if you are there yourself. This book deserves a chance!
Rating: Summary: Awesome!!! Review: I thought that the book "Silent To The Bone" was excellent. I love the way Koningsburg worded this book. Branwell Zamborska is accused of dropping his sister on her head. But, he can't speak in his defense. See, when he called the emergency operator, he can't utter a single sound. His best friend, Connor, remembers a book he read called "Diving Bell and The Butterfly" where a guy is paralyzed from the neck down and he wrote the book by having a man say the alphabet to him and when he came to the letter he wanted he'd blink. Connor likes that so he does that, but just to communicate to Branwell. I don't want to give away the ending so read it for yourself and find out if you like it!!
Rating: Summary: Okay Review: This book was okay. I just found it hard to follow and understand.

Rating: Summary: silent to the bone Review: the story is about a boy that drops is sister that is 5month old they called 911 and the boy would not say anything the boy would not say nothing at all. they took him to a jail. his mom would ask him what happen he would say any thing.
Rating: Summary: Silent to the Bone Review: Silent to the Bone was one of the best books I have ever read. If you want to read about a the struggle of boy who wants to help his best friend, Branwell, I highly recommend this book. Branwell looses his ability to speak when Branwell supposedly dropped his baby half-sister. The au pair, a nanny, is yelling at him to call the ambulance, but Branwell cannot tell the operator what is wrong. Branwell's best friend, Connor, is trying to find out what happened when the baby was dropped by playing a "card game" with Branwell who has been at the juvenile correction center since the baby was dropped. The game is going well, but Connor still can't get Branwell to talk. I truly would recommend this book to anyone who likes to read about people helping out people.
Rating: Summary: silence is not absence to the deaf Review: What I loved about this book was the people. I would love to talk with Branwell and Connor over coffee. I would love to talk with them about whatever. to play their games. to talk in their codes. to be a part of their world. Of course, I mean that I would love to be a part of their world before Branwell fell into his own silent world. This story is great not because of the mystery involved. Not because of the suspense. It is great because it depicts a friendship between two young people that survived a terrible and unusual tragedy. I would love to have friends like Branwell and Connor. This book allowed me to glimpse what such a life would be like. Read it to remember your friends. Read it to be a part of their friendship.
Rating: Summary: Great book...As long as you can be mature... Review: I'm 12 yrs. old, and I found this book delightful, and as long you act mature, and try to put the sexuality part in a different perspective, you will understand and enjoy the book VERY MUCH!!! I like this book because it had some really cool ideas and points and the one part I didn't like most was hearing about The Ancestors. I REALLY LOVED the way Konigsburg in the book had Margeret define "love" like an ivory present and Connor overheard. I think this book was really easy to read, and why did it take place in Epiphany again, like "The View from Saturday"?? Well, it's a very good book, and in some parts it's very emotional too. I also loved the SIAS (Summarize in a Senctance) parts. What happened to Vivian Shawcut, the British Au Pair? They Should really have a sequel to this book, and maybe even have "Vivi" (Vivian) come back for revenge. I really loved the ending a lot!! Well, here's my SIAS: SIAS: Boy saves best friend from the evil clutches of a enchantress and saves the day, plus the uncovering of the truth. One "and" three cliches, what would you rate it???
