Summary: So-so..
Review: Being a male, I thought it was very interesting reading this story. As I read before, the exciting part did not happen until very far out into the story, and just as it started to pick up, the ended. I wished there was more and it would go a little farther before the end.

It's pretty much about a girl who falls in love with her substitute teacher. Soon, the teacher starts to touch her in places and kiss her. She doesn't realize it, and neither did I, but he ended up being a "bad guy," rather than the "nice guy," he was pictured to be throughout the first 100 pages.

Overall.. if you have spare time, pick it up. I don't think little kids or adults will enjoy it. It gets really boring and you can't tell the plot out until it ends.

Review: I bought this book thinking that it would be somewhere along the lines of Go Ask Alice, but it turned out to be a real disspointment. The diary entries were so unrealistic, I found myself laughing at the parts that were entended to be emotionally upsetting, they were so clearly written by a pysciatrist. The world does not need another bs diary book, dont waste your money.

Summary: don't waste your time
Review: I didn't really enjoy this book. I couldn't relate to any of it and it was boring. Instead, read Go Ask Alice.

Summary: Okay...
Review: I have read the following diaries by Beatrice Sparks: Go Ask Alice, Annie's Baby, Kim: Empty Inside, It Happened to Nancy, and Jay's Journal. I didn't think this book was going to disappont me like Kim: Empty Inside did.
This is probaly the 2nd worst book of the series that I've read. The character is boring and it doesn't seem there much character development, for her its sort of like an emotional rollercoaster. She scolds herself for being bad and sad that the teacher is gone, then when he comes back shes all cheery, it just doesn't make sense. I wish I could have seen this diary in its full form and not edited. This book seemed to say the same thing over and over, "I met her Johnstone, we had to act like we didn't like each other..." stuff exactley like that everday when she helped him in summer school. I found it boring. At some point while I was reading it felt as if a chore to just get through it. The most suspenseful part only took me about 7 minutes to read. I would not recommend this, I would get Go Ask Alice, It Happened to Nancy, or Go Ask Alice.

Summary: Treacherous Love
Review: I read this book and although I did really enjoy it, I thought some parts seemed a little unrealistic (maybe not something a real teenage girl would write).I would however highly recommend this book to younger teen and preteen girls, because this book may allow you to futher understand when an adult is taking advantage of you, and this stuff does happen even with people you trust. This book (diary) may not be as good as some of the other stuff Beatrice Sparks has put out, but it still sends out a strong message to teenage girls.

Summary: Not how a teenager really thinks or feels
Review: I read this book becuase it looked good and I saw alot of good reviews on amazon, but it was a huge dissapointment. Its not realistic at all. She is constantly saing she is a negative thinker and going off to the park and crying with her friends or mother and just making all of these connections that a real teenager never would. Theres too many CAPITALS and exclimation marks!!! with everything she said its almost mocking, that teenagers are total idiots. Its distracting from the story, that in reality isnt that good. Its hard to explain, but i was not suprised this was written by a psychiatrist. this person obviously was just trying to tell teenagers not to have relationships with teachers, and not writing a good book. Its a dissapointment. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. This person needs to stop writing books, they are horrible.

Summary: Good Book, Extreme Editing?
Review: I really enjoyed this book, but.....sometimes I had to wonder just how much editing Beatrice Sparks has done on it. Near the end, the way things work out....it almost seems too perfect of an ending. Then again, I could be wrong. At some points, the several little details are not seemingly of what a 14 year old girl would write about. I can compare this book to Jay's Journal, which, apparently, turned out to be a fake. Beatrice Sparks could be out to make a name for herself, and a fake one out of others. However, this was still a great book that I recommend reading, especially to girls under the age of 15. I highly recommend it to them, because it just might help save their life.

Summary: hMmMm...
Review: I think the book was pretty interesting...it was about one of the only books that i didn't want to put down..it really caught my attention..because i mean stuff like this does happen often, when people try to stalk you and say stuff that you aren't...the only thing i didn't really like about the book is that it is not a good book for younger kids...i wouldn't recommend anyone reading it unless they were at least 13.

Summary: Trecherous Love
Review: I thought that Trecherous Love was a good book. It's a good book for any teenage girl, and tells that you can't always trust whom you want to trust. The main characters are Jennie, Bridget, and Mr. Jonstone. What happened to Jennie can happen to anyone. Mr. Jonstone was her substitute teacher and she fell in love with him, because he made her feel like no one else could make her feel. She felt as if she couldn't trust anyone but Mr. Jonstone, because he was the only one that understood her. Her best friend, Bridget, left her for her boyfriend. I think that this book is great for anyone who likes to read about real live situations that have happened to other people.
