And Soffie tells lots of stories about bompy that no body even knew about him. And her one uncle has a friend named Rossilie and he was going to ask her if she would marry him. Then they got to england and found bompy and he remembered everyone but Soffie and Soffie asked bompy if he remembered her but he did not and she showed her journal to everyone and it was all bompys stories and thats how she knows the bompy stories. This is the best book I have read before. I would recommend this book to people that like to ride boat rides.

Summary: K.A's book review
Review: I like the way the author had delevolped the characters in the story. She put the characters in a lot of situations that they needed to handle. There arealot of adventurous things that happen in the story and I like stories that are like this. Sophie is my favorite character because she is always in charge of a situation. The story started out slow but it got better. They stopped in many places because Uncle Dock was looking for Rosalie and it was the stops along the way that made the story intresting.

Summary: Sharon Creech's The Wanderer is a great book
Review: I just finished Sharon Creech's book The Wanderer and it was great!!!! I really enjoyed Sharon Creech's book The Wanderer because it was funny and an adventure. They talk in their journals only. If your looking for an adventure Sharon Creech's books are the ones you are looking for, because they go on a boat trip and don't see land for a long time. Girls need to read this book.

Summary: This is a great book by Sharon Creech!
Review: If you are looking for an adventure book for a girl you would love The Wanderer. It's about a 13 year old girl named Sophie. She goes on a trip over seas to England on a boat called The Wanderer. She goes with her 3 uncles and 2 cousins. The characters are so different . They have some good times and some rough times on the boat. This was a great book and I recommend it to everyone.

Summary: The Wanderer
Review: The Wanderer was a very good book. Sharon Creech writes magnificent books. It was one of the best books I have ever read. She is one of the best authors. The book would make me think twice about sailing. It truly deserved the Newbery it got. I highly recommend this book if you like action.

Summary: The Ocean
Review: This was a great book but the closer you get to the 5th chapter it starts to get very confusing. I really couldn't follow along because it kept going back and fourth back and fourth like a tide and it made me very dizzy. One minute Sophie, the ocean girl, was tallking about her life then she was talking about her cousin, the one she might love. Not that I dislike these "things", boats, the ocean, and love but with so many things going on, I was confused. That is why I stopped reading this book.

Summary: The Wanderer- You Gotta Read It!
Review: The book The Wanderer by Sharon Creech is a great book. It is a great book because in the story when you read it you really feel like you're in the story. My favorite part in the story was when the characters stopped on their way to visit people. Something good would always happen. When you start reading the book you can't put it down. This book is about a girl who is adopted but she is really happy with the family that she has. Her dream was always to go to see her Grandpa and one-day her dream comes true. From then on the adventure begins. I would definitely give this book five stars and would highly recommend it for a person to read!

Summary: Sharon Creech Does It Again!
Review: First off I must mention that I am a HUGE Sharon Creech fan. She is by far my favorite author for young adult books. Some may think that this would make me biased but it's completely not like that. When I picked up The Wanderer my expectations were already enermous because of how much I loved her other books. I was not to be disappointed. Creech has a magical way of weaving a story and giving it layers. From beginning, middle to end this book is great.

I VERY much reccomend Creech's other novels:
Bloomability (about a young girl at a Switzerland boarding school against her will until she discovers all the "bloomabilities" that her new life has to offer. FANTASTIC. So many different layers)
Chasing Redbird (a great book about a girl uncovering a path and how her grandfather is "chasing redbird"..much more to it then just that though)
Walk Two Moons (about a girl whose mother died in a crash and many other things)
Absolutely Normal Chaos (a girl's journal over one summer where things get pretty crazy)

All of Creech's books are about young girls that have had some things in their life happen to them that could of gotten them down. They're all told with a fantastic sense of humor. One of my FAVORITE things about all of Creech's books are how she weaves them together, ie. the girl who is keeping the journal in Absolutely Normal Chaos is a small character from Walk Two Moons, etc. They're all connected in some way

Creech has proven herself to be a great storyteller that won't fade away...
