Review: I love all of Sharon Creech's books, I have been waiting for a new book to come out. I liked the Characters in this book and how they think. my Fav. book is Chasing red bird because I love Zinny and how she was so much differnt from her other brothers and sisters. Well this book is just as good as all the others and I recomend it as a good read.

Summary: Drifting
Review: I rate The Wanderer, by Sharon Creech, as a three on a scale of one to five. I chose three because it was an all right book but it did not really grab my attention.
The plot went like this, a girl named Sophie is adopted by a family and loves the sea. She is invited to go on a boat trip with her two cousins Cody and Brian, and three uncles, Mo, Stew, and Dock across the Atlantic Ocean to go to England where her adopted grandpa Bompie lives. She says she knows him and his stories buy she can?t, or can she. They sail across the ocean stopping along the way at places of interest with some incidents at sea and a rather violent storm. But they eventually make it to England where they see Bompie.
Overall I liked this book because of the content and how the plot eventually fits together in the end.

Summary: BEST BOOK!
Review: My book was The Wanderer. This book was about a girl, Sophie, who was adopted and lived with foster parents. She is going on a boat trip with her two cousins,Cody, and Brian, an with her three uncles, Uncle Moe(Cody's dad), Uncle Stew(Brian's dad)and Uncle Dock. They are on their way across the ocean to see Bompie, Sophies grandfather. They went to many different stops on they way. They found out later that Uncle Dock was looking for someone named Rosalie, and that was why they made so many stops. Sophie would tell "Bompie stories" to everyone about his child hood. When they were on their way they had alot of bad storms and bad weather. One night when Shopie, Cody, and Uncle Dock were keeping a lookout for an sign of a bad wave, Shopie saw a white thing headed for her and the boat. Once the thing got closer Sophie made out that it was a huge wave about to crash on the boat. This wave was the same wave she would keep seeing in her dream only it was white not black. The wave came down and hit everything on deck including Shopie, Cody, and Uncle Dock.
This book was very exciting and adventurous. One little girl had the courage to go across the sea with her family to go see her grandfather. Did Sophie and her cousins and Uncles make it to Bompie? Who is Rosalie? Is there even a Bompie or did Sophie just make those stories up about him? How did Sophie's parents die? To find these questions out you will have to read this book. This book is a good book for all ages.

Summary: Great Book
Review: I have read two other books by Sharon Creech, Love That Dog and Absolutly Normal Chaos. Both very good books but I enjoyed The Wanderer the most. It is about a girl named Sophie who will soon be taking a trip on her Uncle Dock's sail boat called "The Wanderer" with her cosin's Brian and Cody and Uncles Stew,Mo,and Dock. You read the whole story from Sophie's jornal and Cody's "Doglog." Reading it that way makes it very interesting. Its hard to stop reading since each chapter or jornal entry is short and there are many of them so its not to short a book still. All together it was a amazing book and I would advise anyone to read it.
