Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Adventures at Hawk's Hill Review: This story is about a six year old boy who lives on a farm in Winnipeg, Canada. One day he gets lost in a storm. He crawls into a badger hole. The badger and Ben establish friendship and the badger adopts Ben. But after two months, Ben is getting weak from eating the wrong kind of food. What will happen to Ben now? I recommend this book to people who like adventures.
Rating: ![2 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-2-0.gif) Summary: INcident at Hawks Hill Review: This was a very intriging book, that had a very interesting character. It was interesting to see a six year old boy making friends with animals. The only negative thought I have about this book would be it could have used a little bit of edge. I hope to read more books like this in the future. It holds nyour attention great.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Sharlene's Book Review Review: This was one of the best childrens books Ive read in a while.
A young, shy boy, who has a strange, yet caring bond to animals, gets lost in the vast prarie during a strong storm. He runs to the first shelter he sees, which happens to be a badgers den. A bond of trust develops betwwen the young boy and the badger, who had just lost her pups. The badgers "adopts" young Ben and takes care of him the best she can over the period of a summer. As unbelievable as this may sound the writer tells the story in such a way that every thing told sounds quite believable. The book may start a bit slowly for young readers, but those who stick with this book will be rewarded with a great story of courage and suvival, and a strong bond between man and animal
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: One Happy Ending Review: When Ben wanders away from his family; a female badger takes care of him. Ben and the badger get close. The badger takes him food and Ben gets his own water. A few months later, Ben's brother is helping his family look for Ben and sees him run in the badger hole. So, he finally got him in his arms and takes him home. The female badger will not leave his side, and the family decided to adopt the badger. The badger never lets anybody touch her. A mean old man comes and shoots the badger. When Ben goes to bury her sound will change his life forever. I recommend this book to all readers, because it is a book anybody should read and enjoy. I thought this book was really good, because it gives me a lot of details about what is happening.
