Summary: The Changes of Life
Review: This book is very suspenseful. It is about a boy named Ben who is six years old. He loves animals and is very small for his age. He wanders off over the hills away from his home on Hawk's Hill because he misunderstands his father for going near a badger. A storm is coming, but he does not know where he is. He crawls in a badger hole and from then on a relationship builds between Ben and a female badger that is the same one he saw earlier. After weeks in the hole Ben starts hunting with the badger. They do almost everything together. His family forms a search party to look for him. He does not recognize the people so he hides from them. Ben had been missing for three months. After two months he starts to get weak in the badger hole. Will he live in the hole? Will he ever see his family again? This book is for all ages, and it is an excellent for animal lovers everywhere.

Summary: Ben and the Badger
Review: This book was about a boy named Ben who was kind of a shy boy, who loved animals he even imulated animal sounds. Ben was very adventures when it comes to the animals. Ben and his family lived on a farm, he wonderd away from the farm house one day following a chicken. Ben became lost and survived in the wilderness with help from a female badger. She hunted for him and protected him, even gave him a place to stay in a badger hole. Ben's family and neighboord searched for him even though the neighboors gave up the family did not for months. Ben was finally found by his brother and brought home. At first Ben thought he was an animal it took him time to get used to being a human again. The badger came looking for Ben and the family took the badger in as a family member. One day a neighboor who was a hunter came to visit and thought the family was in danger when he saw the badger on their land he shot the badger and got into a fight with Mr. McDonald. Ben's father tried to nurse the badger back to health. But the Ben and his father became closer after this incident.
I did not give this book a high rating because it was hard to read because it was a lot words that I did not understand and it took along time for the book to get interesting. It was a lot of things in the beginning of the book that could of been left out. This made the book really hard to read. It was okay.

Summary: The stuff of childhood memories.
Review: This is one of the best books of my childhood reading experience. I was eleven years old and my mom baught it for me when we were on a trip to England. It was more than a way to kill down-time. The story, characters and the rollercoaster of emotions it inspired are memorable still. This book is remarkable and I would recomend it in the same breath as 'where the Red Fern Grows' or 'Good Night, Mr. Tom'. Do a child in your life a favor: have them read this book.

Summary: ~ BEN AND HAWK'S HILL ~
Review: This story is about a boy named Benjamin aka Ben, he is 6 years old, and is very little. He likes to go to Hawk's Hill and he follows the animals and mocks them. One day he wandered off to far and was lost. His parents' was looking for him. He was lost for two months. If you are interrested in animals, sounds, and adventure, you'll like this book! I liked when Ben went to Hawk's Hill, because, everyone would think that he was talking/communicating with the animals, but he was realy was just mocking them. It was sad when everybody thought he was weird and crazy just because, he didn't talk to people very often. He's just a normal kid like all of us, exept he's a little small for his age, and he likes animals. You should read this book to see if they'll ever find him. Will Ben survive being missing for so long, or will he die?
THIS IS A VERY GOOD BOOK!!
