Summary: A Boy and a Badger
Review: Incident at Hawk's Hill was an exciting book. I liked it because of the plot. The book is about a boy named Ben. Ben wonders off, and gets lost. He stays with a badger for two months. I think an adult should read this to their children and, a teacher should read it to her (his) class.

Summary: THE TRILLING BOOK INCIDENT AT HAWK'S HILL
Review: Incident at Hawk's Hill was the best book I read this summer. The story goes like this: One day Ben (six-years-old) ran off after a femal badger. He was told not to follow badgers but he did. Finaly the badger came to her hole, but that didn't stop Ben and he squeezed right into the hole. After awile the badger made friends with Ben and adopted him. She started hunting and bringing him food just like he was her baby.
Ben's family got conserned about him and sent out a search party and eventualy found him after elevan days of looking for him. When they found him it took his older brother a lot strugguling to get his brother and it took a long time to stop the badger from wrestling him.
When Ben got back home he told the story and the next day they went to look for the badger so they could bring it to their house and would let it stay Ben cpould have fun playing with the badger.
IT IS AN AWESOME BOOK

Summary: A must-read for animal lovers and would-be hunters.
Review: Recommended by my son's sixth grade teacher, this novel has enough information to make it a biology lesson and literary masterpiece, all-in-one. I did not want the book to end and am furiously trying to find out what happened to the characters after closing the book on page 191. This novel is ideal for children, fourth grade and up, or as a read-aloud for teachers and parents.

Summary: One great book
Review: The book is about a six year old boy named Ben who talks to animals, and is short for his age. He lives in the horse and buggy days until one day he runs off following a prairie chicken. He gets lost when suddenly it starts to rain. He finds a badger hole and lives in it for a month until the family finds him on the search party. I think you should read this book, because there is a lot of adventure in it. I liked it, because there was adventure on every page.

Summary: Incident At Hawk's Hill
Review: This bood is about a six year old boy who is small. He gets lost and lives with a badger. The Badger and the boy care for each other. I thought that this book wasn't all that great. Although the end was kind of exciting. The first part of the book was way boring to me. I would only read this book if you like to read about survival and animals. That's my view of this book anyway. You read it for yourself. Although I think it is boring.

Summary: Someone Who Loves Kids' Books
Review: This book got off to a slow start but it really really picked up around one-third of the way through and from then on was a fantastic, intriguing read! Aside from the main character, Benjamin a 6 year old boy, the other characters were a little stereotyped and caricatured but that did not detract from the beauty of the story which was mainly about Ben's own personal development and his relationship with a badger. I found this a very moving story, not sentimentalized at all and I would reccommend this book.

Summary: Incident at Hawk's Hill
Review: This book is about a father that does not give up. In most books nobody gives up, but in this book all the neighbors give up searching for the father's lost son. The dad and the older brother all continue searching for two months. A badger with no family took the boy in and fed him and he drank from a depression in a rock. When they found him, he spat and acted like a badger. It was really good and exciting.

Summary: Ben's Great Adventure
Review: This book is about a six- year- old boy named Ben. Ben lives back in the days were the people ride horses. He is very small for his age.One day he was playing outside and he started chasing a prairie chicken. Then he got lost in the prairie called Hawk's Hill. Ben knew a storm was going to hit. The shelter that he found was a badger den. I like the book because it is very exciting; one very exciting part is when Ben sees a badger. This book is a very exciting book to read for all ages especially animal lovers everywhere!
