At the end it was hard to believe it was a true story. After I finished the book I wanted to know what happened to Ben. I could read it all over again if I had the book. I would recommend other people to read it. (25)

Rating: ![2 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-2-0.gif) Summary: America's Demosthenes Review: Incident at Hawk's Hill is a book about a 6-yr. old boy, Benjamin, who likes animals. He imitates their sounds and walks, and is, in a way, detached from human life. His family worries about him, since he is very small compared to average 6-yr. olds. The book also cuts to a story about a female badger, which is very interesting and informative, who Ben crosses paths with one day. Then, one day after this all, Ben accidentally wanders away from his home, and the resulting story is suspenseful and heartwarming. The end, though some may say ends on a cliffhanger, wraps up many conflicts nevertheless. Hawk's Hill is a GREAT book, and an excellent read for children and adults. The book has a historically accurate forward. It is set in the 1800s near Winnipeg, Canada.

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Exceptional Literature! Review: Incident at Hawk's Hill is a exceptional book about a six-year-old boy living in the Mid West, during the late 1800's. The boy runs away after he misunderstood his fathers anger. Together the boy and a widow badger live and learn to adapt with each other. When he returns home his family accepts the badger because she it what kept him alive. I highly recommend this book to someone that enjoys an adventure.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Incident at Hawk's Hill Review: Incident at Hawk's Hill is a novel about a not-so-ordinary six-year-old boy named Ben. Ben seems to get along better with animals than with people. One day Ben disappears for most of a summer and survives in the wilds by becoming friends with a badger. I enjoyed this book because it is a story about a misunderstood little boy who finds the courage to change. In the end Ben and his father develop a closer bond and learn to communicate together better. This story brings hope and understanding to those who might feel that they do not "fit in."
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: It was great. Review: Incident at Hawk's Hill was about alittle boy who gets lost. He falls asleep in a badger home. The badger adopts him because she recently lost her mate and her pups. She cares for him until he is almost like a badger. This was one of the best and saddest book I ever read. (2)
