Summary: A Must Read For All Teenage Girls
Review: This book touched my heart. I'm a teenage girl myself, and this book really taught me about making good decisions. I couldn't put it down after the first page. Learning how Annie deals with everything and reading about her struggles and most inner feelings really sucked me into the novel. I had a much greater understanding of what a pregnant teenager goes through. I highly recommend this book to any teenage girl--no matter what their personality may be, they'll get into this book!

Summary: Annie's Baby
Review: The book Annie's Baby is by an anoymous teenager who becomes pregnant by and older guy. And then as most guys do when she is finally able to tell him he leaves her. It would be a really good book for someone who is pregnant and who is a teenager because it shows you how a real life teen survives what's happening in her life and how things do get better and that it's not the end of the world. It would also be a good book for any teenage girl because it warns you and shows you what the consequences that you could have by having sex at a young age and showing you the responsibility of having a baby and what you'd have to go through while being pregnant.

Summary: Quite a waste of my money
Review: When I bought this book, I thought it might be like those "Go Ask Alice" types. Boy I was so wrong! This stupid Annie is still madly in so-called, "love" with her irresponsible boyfriend who made her pregnant and battered her. I mean, duh? I am so dissapointed with this book. It seemed unreal, somehow. The best way to enjoy this book is to borrow it somewhere and never ever read it again, bcos if you do, you'd feel like throwing up.

Summary: An awsome book!
Review: I love Beatrice Sparks' books! And I disagree that her, (Annie)apologizing in her diary for cussing made it sound fake. I mean that may be a little wierd, but that doesn't make the diary fake. It said in the book that she was Catholic, and went to that camp w/ her friends. So mabye she just felt that it was wrong. I also read It happened to Nancy, and it was also a great book. I highly reccomend it. And I think both of those books could help teenagers get rid of that "it'll never happen to me" view of things.

Summary: Great Book
Review: I think that Annie's baby is a great book, and that it might be very helpful to girls that are like Annie but not only for them, I mean I have always said, me having a chance of being pregnant? never, I will not have relationships till I'm merried, but still I think the book made me think of it more deeply. While I was reading the book there were sometimes I felt like crying, I mean all the pain she's going through and all I felt that I was living them. I really recommend girls 10 years and older to read this book its really inspiring.

Summary: Not a Must-Read
Review: _Annie's Baby_ is a good read for those teens out there who are having unprotected sex or have the "it'll never happen to me" attitude. Despite this, I was disappointed with this book and wish there was a 2 1/2 - star rating. First of all, at no point throughout the entire book was I at all convinced that this is a real diary. I am a 14-year-old girl and have been keeping a diary for years, and teenagers do not write like this. If Annie was a real teen, she would not apologize for using an occasional swear word in her OWN diary when she is being abused by her "boyfriend" AND THEN FINDS OUT SHE'S PREGNANT! Unless, of course, Annie knew that her supposed diary was being read by millions, or "Annie" is really Dr. Sparks. The whole time I was reading this book, I was trying to convince myself that perhaps, maybe, possibly this is a real diary, only to reach the Question and Answer section of the book and discover that the answers are in the exact same format as the counseling section towards the end of the book!

If one can get past the fact that this is not a real diary and hope that Annie is in fact a real person, or at least a character based on a real person, than one could be impressed with this novel. Though Annie is very naive and stupid at the book's beginning, by its end she has gained amazing strength and finally makes what I feel is definitely the right decision (although, in reality, Annie would have been much more affected by this decision). I do applaud Beatrice Sparks on her attempt to better inform our generation on the consequences of unprotected sex, lying to parents, etc. ... It has obviously had a major, positive impact on the majority of teens who have read it. However, I am not going to tell you this is a must-read.

Summary: Not quite sure...
Review: Although I really liked the book I felt that at some points so much pitty for Annie because she seemed so naive. I didn't think I would like it at all because of the way Annie seemed so naive. But towards the end, her voice became much more mature and vocal. Even stronger. The pain is so realistic and true, it is a very emotional book and will leave you angry and happy in some ways, I would recomend this to anyone.

Summary: awesome
Review: i like seriously liked this book. it was really good and i cried alot cuz its emotional. it makes it even better that its a true story because its not fake and the person who wrote it obviously experienced it not like other authors who think they like know what theyre talking about when they write a book like this. i totally encourage you to buy this cuz its hella good!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Touching
Review: I just finished reading the book yesterday. It was very touching. Imagine, a girl my age getting pregnant. I had no idea people my age were that bad and nasty. I felt so sorry for Annie and I wanted to tell her everything would work out for the best, and it did! At the beginning I knew that she shouldn't be hanging around with Danny and his crowd, but she learned her lesson, even if it was the hard way. Reading this book may save your life and make you think twice about having sex.
